Moving solution to ASP.NET vNext - Unable to reference assembly

Moving solution to ASP.NET vNext - Unable to reference assembly

seems to work fine In global.json change the sources to ["backend","test"]
You are missing the library reference in the test project:
code :
"dependencies": {
    "library": "",
    "Xunit.KRunner": "1.0.0-beta1"
 },

will help you I found the answer on a forum...
In a nutshell, you can only reference your dlls if they are inside a nuget package... ( I hope this will be improved. It is a hassle IMO. )
code :
{

    "dependencies": {
        "Quartz" : "2.2.4.400"
    },

    "configurations" : {

        "k10" : {

            "dependencies": {

                "System.Console": "4.0.0.0"
            }

        }

    }

}

Hope this helps It seems you can add framework libraries like "System.Runtime.Serialization" to the "frameworkAssemblies". (But I'm not sure this will also work with GAC.)
See example project.json file:
code :
"net45": {
        "frameworkAssemblies": {
            "System.Runtime.Serialization": "4.0.0.0"
        },
        "dependencies": {
            "System.Reflection": "4.0.10-beta-22416",
        }
    }

it fixes the issue Since the "component" library is build for .net 45 and assuming that you build that library in an older version of visual studio, it will not work in aspnetcore5 but will work on aspnet5 (these are the new version for .net). if you want to get rid of the error and still use your component library, you will need remove the aspnetcore5 json node from the project.json file but the project that you building will not be compatible with aspnetcore5. So your project.json file for the frameworks section should look like this.
code :
"frameworks": {
    "aspnet50": {

        "frameworkAssemblies": {
            "System": "4.0.0.0"
        },
        "dependencies": {

        }
    },
    "net45": {
        "dependencies": {  "components": "1.0.0"},
        "frameworkAssemblies": { }

    }

}

will be helpful for those in need Turned out that my library projects were built for .Net Framework 4.5.2, and in beta5 this is not working for some reason with dnx 4.5.1. Downgrading libraries to Framework 4.5.1 fixes the issue.
Still it works with beta4.

help you fix your problem to Vitaly's hint, just remove dnxcore50 target. It's now compiling..
The extended answer is, that in this case, the Telerik components are most likely not prepared for targeting Core 5.0 .
code :
"frameworks": {
  "dnx451": {
    "dependencies": {
      "Telerik.DataAccess.Fluent": "2015.2.624.2",
      "Telerik.DataAccess.Core": "2015.2.624.2",
      "Telerik.DataAccess.Web": "2015.2.624.2",
      "Telerik.DataAccess.Fluent.Sample": "2015.2.624.1"
    }
  }
},
