hope this fix your issue That is the default behavior of an asynchronous tree: it only loads children when user expands the parent. You must send the complete tree from the server to access all nodes through the tree store.

I wish this helpful for you I'm trying to change the background color of a Treepanel in extjs 4. So far I've created a custom css class with the desired color and applied it to the panel and its view , I have found a solution and here it is:
code :
        background-color: #c0c0c0;

    .navpanel .x-grid-cell
    .navpanel .x-grid-row-selected .x-grid-cell, .x-grid-row-selected .x-grid-rowwrap-div
        background-color:#f0f0f0 !important;
        font-weight: bold;

this will help Am working on moving nodes in a tree, and as they are moved, their ID's are updated in the database through C# in the back-end. Till now, i have managed to update the position of the node that is being moved, but after its moved, the position of the other nodes in the tree should also get updated. Could anyone tell me how to proceed with this? , Here is some sample code that works with 4.1:
code :
Ext.define('BS.model.ItemCategory', {
    extend: 'Ext.data.Model',
    fields: [
        {name: 'name'     , type: 'string'},
        {name: 'iconCls'  , type: 'string', defaultValue: 'treenode-no-icon'},
        {name: 'leaf'     , type: 'boolean', defaultValue: false},
        {name: 'expanded' , type: 'boolean', defaultValue: true, persist: false},
        {name: 'index'     , type: 'int'},

    proxy: {
        type: 'direct',

        api: {
            create: ItemCategories.Create,
            read: ItemCategories.Read,
            update: ItemCategories.Update,
            destroy: ItemCategories.Delete,
Ext.define('BS.store.ItemCategories', {

    extend: 'Ext.data.TreeStore',
    model: 'BS.model.ItemCategory',

    autoSync: true,

    root: {
        text: 'Root',
        id: 'NULL',
        expanded: true

    clearOnLoad: true,
Ext.define('BS.view.admin.pages.item-categories.ItemCategories' ,
    extend: 'Ext.tree.Panel',
    alias : 'widget.item-categories-tree',

    store: 'ItemCategories',

    displayField: 'name',

    rootVisible: false,
    useArrows: true,
    multiSelect: false,
    singleExpand: false,
    allowDeselect: true,

    plugins: {
        ptype: 'treeviewdragdrop',

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I have a simple Ext.tree.Panel, which loads its data from a Ext.data.TreeStore using an ajax proxy. , Put this as a listener in the store to get the desired behavior:
code :
collapse: function(node){
    node.set("loaded", false);

it should still fix some issue I've since found a work-around, while sencha "fixes" this issue...
My Sencha Bug Report
code :
listeners: {
     beforeload: function (store, operation, eOpts) {
          if(store.isLoading()) return false;

Does that help thanks for your input @JuHwon. However, your was not suited well in that scenario. Because the Ajax calls were out of the box, As I mentioned the tree triggers call based on a property(may be isSelectable = true, as far as I can recall now). So, for fulfilling this use case I have used setTimeOut and clearTimeOut method for dynamically push a delay of 2000 ms. I didn't find more closer to it.
