Gulp browser-sync where place folder?

Gulp browser-sync where place folder?

may help you . I believe this is because Browser sync does not know, without additional configuration, what to do when you do not specify the explicit file you want to view. Normally, web servers default to viewing index.html when a directory is specified.
To see if this is the case, go to http://localhost:3000/index.html, assuming you have an index.html directly under the 'app' directory (e.g. app/index.html exists).
code :
var gulp = require('gulp'),
    browserSync = require('browser-sync');

gulp.task('browser-sync', function () {
 browserSync.init(null, {
  server: {
     baseDir: 'app',
     directory: true // or index: "index.html"
  }
 });
});

it fixes the issue The solution I found was to wrap notify.onError in an anonymous function and append this.emit('end'):
code :
.on('error', function(err) {
    notify.onError({
        title: 'Error!',
        message: '<%= error.message %>',
        sound: 'Beep'
    })(err);
    this.emit('end');
})

it helps some times To make sure you have browser-sync installed you'll have to take a look inside your package.json file. If you see browser-sync under 'Dependencies' then it's sucessfully installed.
I think the error you get happens when you try to run the gulp tasks, and that is because you're using some old gulp syntax.
code :
[sass] becomes gulp.series('sass')
var gulp = require('gulp');
var sass = require('gulp-sass');
var browserSync = require('browser-sync');

gulp.task('sass', function(){
    return gulp.src('app/scss/styles.scss')
        .pipe(sass())
        .pipe(gulp.dest('app/css'))
        .pipe(browserSync.stream());
});

gulp.task('serve', function() {

    browserSync.init({
        server: "./"
    });

    gulp.watch("./scss/styles.scss",  gulp.series('sass'));
    gulp.watch("./*.html").on('change', browserSync.reload());
});

gulp.task('default', gulp.series('sass', 'serve'));

I think the issue was by ths following , Do not understand what the error read documentation in browser-sync where gulp 4 there is really nothing written about it. In the documentation of gulp 4 also did not understand( async ). How to resolve this problem. . bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla , Use this instead:
code :
gulp.task('browser-sync', function(done) {
    browserSync({
        server: {
            baseDir: 'app'
        },
        notify: false,
        // open: false,
        // online: false, // Work Offline Without Internet Connection
        // tunnel: true, tunnel: "projectname", // Demonstration page: http://projectname.localtunnel.me
    });
    done();
});
