this one helps. I've been struggling with this email function for a while. So basically, I'm working on a local website for a personal project, and I've run into problems with my email verification process. I have the framework in place to support it, but not the means to send an email; that's what this is about. , I think you wanna do that (but don't know why):
code :
if ($stmt->affected_rows !== 1) {
    return 1;
}

Hope this helps It's just undefined behavior.
It appears to work because there's one register that holds the return value. In the deepest paths of the recursion tree, the temp is moved into that register, and never cleared or changed afterwards, so that register will contain the correct node until the first call returns.

I wish did fix the issue. Try moving //=require Turbolinks to the very bottom of your application.js and see if that doesn't help. Also, you can try turning off turbolinks. Turbolinks is cool, but doesn't always play nice with others.
Hope this helps!

Hope that helps Most ORM's convert @ parameters into SqlParameter objects, which handle typing for you so you don't need to enclose your query variables in apostrophes to denote a string.
So change
code :
'@0' AND @1'
@0 AND @1

it fixes the issue Not sure what really solved it (I think its the retry policy I added), but with this code the null error is gone. What found out now, they query im executing takes waay to long, and I dont know why. I post it in another question, link will be in the comments
code :
 public static  void registerUser(final Context context){

    StringRequest stringRequest = new   StringRequest(Request.Method.POST,   AppConfig.URL_SERVER,
            new Response.Listener<String>() {
                @Override
                public void onResponse(String response) {
                    Toast.makeText(context,response,Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
                }
            },
            new Response.ErrorListener() {
                @Override
                public void onErrorResponse(VolleyError error) {
                    Toast.makeText(context,error.toString(),Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
                }
            }){
        @Override
        protected Map<String,String> getParams(){
            Map<String,String> params = new HashMap<String, String>();
            params.put("tag", "getNewMedia");
            return params;
        }

    };

    stringRequest.setRetryPolicy(new DefaultRetryPolicy(
            100000,
            DefaultRetryPolicy.DEFAULT_MAX_RETRIES,
            DefaultRetryPolicy.DEFAULT_BACKOFF_MULT));

    RequestQueue requestQueue = Volley.newRequestQueue(context);
    requestQueue.add(stringRequest);
}

I wish this help you Wrap your jQuery in a document ready call or put the JS at the end of the document. You're trying to execute it on elements that don't exist yet. jsFiddle defaults to adding your code inside a window.load call (see the options in the upper left corner of jsFiddle).
