help you fix your problem I have a long MySql query that has a lots of filters in it to narrow my results to a small set of answers I need. Here is the query is use at the moment: , The problem probably lies in the part:
code :
AND oa3.offer_id IS NULL
LEFT JOIN ourson_offerattributes_new oa4 ON oa3.offer_id=oa4.offer_id
AND oa4.attribute_id='status_ltu_indexer' AND oa4.value='OK' AND oa3.offer_id IS NULL
INNER JOIN ourson_offerattributes_new oa4 ON oa3.offer_id=oa4.offer_id
    AND oa4.attribute_id='status_ltu_indexer' AND oa4.value='OK'
LEFT JOIN ourson_offer_new oa5 ON oa3.offer_id=oa5.offer_id
AND oa5.cat IS NULL AND oa5.cat IN (5070101,7030100,2020205,2020202)
INNER JOIN ourson_offer_new oa5 ON oa3.offer_id=oa5.offer_id
    AND oa5.cat IN (5070101,7030100,2020205,2020202)

I wish this helpful for you One possible way to do this would be to use a pair of LEFT joins, and then determine whether to return B.adid depending on whether a match has been found on C:-
code :
SELECT A.*,
    IF(C.bfid IS NULL, NULL, B.bid),
    IF(C.bfid IS NULL, NULL, C.cid),
    IF(C.bfid IS NULL, NULL, C.bfid)
FROM A
LEFT OUTER JOIN B ON A.bfid = B.bid
LEFT OUTER JOIN C ON B.bid = C.bfid

hop of those help? I have a mysql problem , Use ISNULL function.
code :
SELECT ISNULL((SELECT name FROM a_table WHERE user_id = @usr),
(SELECT name FROM i_user WHERE user_id = @usr)) AS name,
       ISNULL((SELECT [address] FROM a_table WHERE user_id = @usr),
       (SELECT [address] FROM i_user WHERE user_id = @usr)) AS a_address
FROM DUAL
SELECT ISNULL(t1.name, t2.name) AS name,
       ISNULL(t1.address, t2.address) AS a_address
FROM a_table t1
       LEFT JOIN i_user t2 ON t1.user_id = t2.user_id
WHERE t1.user_id = @usr

this will help As others have already pointed out, you are aggregating by the p_media_user_id column but then selecting other non aggregate columns. This either won't run at all, or it will run but give non determistic results. However, it looks like you just want the most recent record from the p_media table, for each p_media_user_id. If so, then this would seem to be the query you intended to run:
code :
SELECT
    pm1.timestamp, pm1.id, pm1.p_media_user_id, pm1.p_media_type, pm1.p_media_file,
    pm1.wall_post, pm1.p_media_location, pm1.p_media_location_name,
    pm1.p_media_category, pa.p_source_alert_id, pa.post_id, pa.p_target_alert_id,
    pu.fb_id, pu.username, pu.city, pu.sex, pu.main_image
FROM p_media as pm1
INNER JOIN
(
    SELECT p_media_user_id, MAX(timestamp) AS max_timestamp
    FROM p_media
    GROUP BY p_media_user_id
) pm2
    ON pm1.p_media_user_id = pm2.p_media_user_id AND
       pm1.timestamp = pm2.max_timestamp
INNER JOIN p_users AS pu
    ON pm1.p_media_user_id = pu.fb_id
LEFT JOIN p_alerts AS pa
    ON pm1.id = pa.post_id AND
       pa.p_source_alert_id = '3849084';

seems to work fine Maybe a different approach? Can you split the OR in your JOIN condition, create two INNER JOIN queries and UNION them together?
code :
SELECT
    Source,
    FirstName,
    LastName,
    MiddleName,
    Gender,
    Age,
    DOB,
    Address,
    Address2,
    City,
    State,
    Zip,
    Zip4,
    TimeZone,
    Income,
    HomeValue,
    Networth,
    MaritalStatus,
    IsRenter,
    HasChildren,
    CreditRating,
    Investor,
    LinesOfCredit,
    InvestorRealEstate,
    Traveler,
    Pets,
    MailResponder,
    Charitable,
    PolicalDonations,
    PoliticalParty,
    coalesce(P.ATTOM_ID, T.ATTOM_ID) as ATTOM_ID,
