Any of those help WIRIS is now available for Ruby on Rails! You can see the TinyMCE demo at http://www.wiris.com/plugins/demo/tinymce/ruby/. You will find download and documentation links on the demo page. Our Ruby on Rails plugin is also available for CKeditor and for generic HTML editors.

To fix this issue A few options exist:
wpf-math this is an API to render math based TeX to WFP, and there some limited code to take an Expression and convert it to TeX.
code :
public class FormulaImageConverter: IDisposable
    private Guid _guid;

    private Application _wordApp;
    private Document _doc;
    private Range _range;

    private string _saveName;
    private string _extractPath;

    public FormulaImageConverter(Application wordApp)

        _wordApp = wordApp;
        _guid = Guid.NewGuid();
        string guidToString = _guid.ToString("N");
        string saveNameBase = System.IO.Path.Combine(System.IO.Path.GetTempPath(), guidToString);
        _saveName = saveNameBase + ".html";
        _extractPath = saveNameBase + @"_files\image002.gif";

        _wordApp.Visible = false;
        _doc = _wordApp.Documents.Add();
        _range = _doc.Range();
        _range.Text = "5";

    public byte[] ConvertFormulaToImage(string eq)
        _range.Text = eq;
        _doc.SaveAs(_saveName, WdSaveFormat.wdFormatHTML,Type.Missing,Type.Missing,false,Type.Missing,null,false);

        return System.IO.File.ReadAllBytes(_extractPath);

    public void Dispose()
        _range = null;
        _doc = null;
        _wordApp = null;
        for (int i = 0; i < 2; i++)

it helps some times I found a quick fix. I managed to put the editor in an iframe, following the suggestion in this post:

should help you out There area couple of issues here. One is that + has two meanings in Javascript. For numbers, it means "plus", just as you're intending. For strings, however, it means "concatenate".
So 1 + 1 = 2, but "1" + "1" = "11".
code :
var analyseN1 = parseInt(document.getElementById("n1").value);
var analyseN2 = parseInt(document.getElementById("n2").value);
// Get the numbers from the selects, and the operator
var analyseN1 = parseInt(document.getElementById("n1").value);
var analyseOp = document.getElementById("op").value
var analyseN2 = parseInt(document.getElementById("n2").value);

// Add or subtract the numbers, depending on the selected operator
var addUp;
if(analyseOp == "+"){
  addUp = analyseN1 + analyseN2;
  addup = analyseN1 - analyseN2;

it helps some times This is a known issue. Since version 4.0 WIRIS plugin uses base64 images. By default, TinyMCE converts base64 images to blob objects. In order to avoid this behaviour it is mandatory to declare into the TinyMCE init function the function "images_dataimg_filter". You can find more detais at https://www.tinymce.com/docs/configure/file-image-upload/#images_dataimg_filter

Hope that helps So just want to help people who've struggled over this too. I finally found one nice Equation editor plugin: http://latex.codecogs.com/eqneditor/integration/tinymce_v4/install.php which is very intuitive and easy to integrate.
The download link in the text doesn't work, have to click on the pic at upperright. Make sure you add to your assets/javascripts/application.js path to tinymce/plugins/eqneditor and should be good to go!
