Invoking a function within Javascript's 'sort' method

Invoking a function within Javascript's 'sort' method

wish help you to fix your issue It gets called repeatedly for pairs of values in the array. It is sort that iterates, not the function you wrote. The complete algorithm is in the spec. Arguments are passed when the function in invoked. It is just that it is invoked by the internals of the sort function (to which you pass the function as an argument), not by your code.

wish help you to fix your issue I think you are confusing Java with JavaScript, but they are completely different programming languages. I'm almost positive the code is JavaScript.
The default sort functionality for JavaScript sorts by string value, not integer value. You must do the latter manually, but it's pretty simple:
code :
[3,10].sort(function (a, b) { return a - b; });

With these it helps Don't give the self invoking function a name (there is little benefit to it beyond making it easier to find in a stacktrace, which you shouldn't need at that point, and it memory leaks in old IE) Don't call the self invoking function twice Don't treat the self invoking function as if it was a constructor function (by calling it with new) Do capture the return value of the self-invoking function
Such:
code :
    var x = (function () {
        var j = function() { alert("234234"); };
        return {
            s: j
        };
    })();

    x.s();
    function x () {
        var j = function() { alert("234234"); };
        return {
            s: j
        };
    };

    var x1 = x();
    var x2 = x();
    x1.s();
    function x () {
    };

    x.prototype.s = function () {
        alert("234234");
    }

    var x1 = new x();
    var x2 = new x();
    x1.s();

Hope this helps adapter is declared as a PagerAdapter, not a ViewPagerAdapter. Therefore the only methods you can use on adapter are the ones defined for PagerAdapter. The compiler doesn't know that adapter will actually be a ViewPagerAdapter at that point--I can tell that it will, because I saw the assignment adapter = new ViewPagerAdapter(...) up above, but the compiler isn't allowed to notice that (those are the rules of the language). Instead:
code :
ViewPagerAdapter viewPagerAdapter = new ViewPagerAdapter(getChildFragmentManager());

will help you example2 must be executed first (otherwise the variable will just be hoisted and be undefined)
Then there's two ways to do it:
code :
let example2 = (function(){
   let _testvalue = 12;
   return{
           getvalue : function(){
                 return _testvalue;
            }
          }

})();

//way 1
var example1 = (function(testvalue){

   // Receive value from example2 function.
   console.log(testvalue.getvalue());

})(example2);

//way 2
var example1 = (function(testvalue){

   // Receive value from example2 function.
   console.log(testvalue);

})(example2.getvalue());
