I hope this helps you . This works fine in the latest Chrome Beta build, 10.0.648.127. I think you're just experiencing weirdness in the Chrome Canary Build. Remember, the Canary Build is released without any testing to ensure that it actually works, and as such is "a highly unstable browser that will often break entirely."
In this case, the same code seems to work once when pasted in JSFiddle and viewed in Chrome 11.0.691.0. The first time the button is clicked, the print dialog is shown, but if you cancel it and click the button again, nothing happens. (This also seems to be a Chrome bug – the same thing happens in this very vanilla test.)

it should still fix some issue {{valHeader}} creates a property inside your note-list elelemt which is bound to the input value of the paper-input.
You can access it with
code :
var header = this.valHeader

should help you out It looks like you might be relying on named access on the Window object, which should be avoided.
Instead, use document.getElementById('dialog') as shown in this snippet:
code :
<head>
  <base href="https://polygit.org/polymer+1.9.3/components/">
  <script src="webcomponentsjs/webcomponents-lite.js"></script>
  <link rel="import" href="polymer/polymer.html">

To fix this issue Unfortunately there isn't any param you could pass to window.print(); and force it to print pdf unless there is a pdf driver plugin already present on the client's browser. There are plugins for firefox and IE (JS Print Setup and MeadCo Script respectively).
You may want to look at MrRio/jsPDF, a tool to generate pdf files at client-side JS.

wish of those help this.$ won't work. You have to call this.$$ which is equal to Polymer.dom(this.root).querySelector();
plus, you have multiple elements with same ID which is absolutely against html standards.
