Does that help You just need to set the scanIntervalSeconds property in the plugin
code :
<plugin>
    <groupId>org.eclipse.jetty</groupId>
    <artifactId>jetty-maven-plugin</artifactId>
    <version>${jetty.version}</version>
    <configuration>
        <contextPath>/</contextPath>
        <stopKey>foo</stopKey>
        <stopPort>9999</stopPort>
        <scanIntervalSeconds>5</scanIntervalSeconds>
    </configuration>
</plugin>
<configuration>
    ...
    <scanTargets>
        <scanTarget>path/to/somefile</scanTarget>
    </scanTargets>
</configuration>

To fix this issue for anyone else that was interested in my question.. this is only a partial solution, but I ended up finding my answer here: How to gracefully restart django running fcgi behind nginx?
You can just run the script (I'm going to modify it a bit), everytime you edit your code and it will gracefully restart everything without dropping connections.

I hope this helps . So I have a project that depends on a snapshot version of another project. The dependency is: , Just add this to your ~/.m2/settings.xml:
code :
<profiles>
  <profile>
     <id>allow-snapshots</id>
        <activation><activeByDefault>true</activeByDefault></activation>
     <repositories>
       <repository>
         <id>snapshots-repo</id>
         <url>https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots</url>
         <releases><enabled>false</enabled></releases>
         <snapshots><enabled>true</enabled></snapshots>
       </repository>
     </repositories>
   </profile>
</profiles>

around this issue No, it doesn't work like this. There is no "automatic" discovery of new modules in multi-module projects. You will need to define the relationship between the child and parent poms in the parent pom.

it fixes the issue You'll have to compile all your object files twice, which means that either all the object files have to have different names, or you have to put them in subdirectories with different names. I prefer subdirectories. You can do something like this, using target-specific variables:
code :
SOURCES = src1.c src2.c src3.c

all: libsharedlib_ver1.so libsharedlib_ver2.so

libsharedlib_ver1.so: HEADERS = $(INCDIR)/ver1_headers
libsharedlib_ver2.so: HEADERS = $(INCDIR)/ver2_headers

V1OBJS := $(SOURCES:%.c=ver1/%.o)
V2OBJS := $(SOURCES:%.c=ver2/%.o)

libsharedlib_ver1.so: $(V1OBJS)
libsharedlib_ver2.so: $(V2OBJS)

ver1/%.o : %.c
        $(CC) $(CFLAGS) -I$(HEADERS) $(CPPFLAGS) -o $@ -c $<
ver2/%.o : %.c
        $(CC) $(CFLAGS) -I$(HEADERS) $(CPPFLAGS) -o $@ -c $<

__dummy := $(shell mkdir -p ver1 ver2)

I think the issue was by ths following , Since you build the library in the same build directory, with the same target name, you'll always come out with the latest built file, whatever the current build configuration is set to. To overcome the problem, you need to use separate build directories, one for each configuration.
In Build Settings, for each configuration, add %{CurrentBuild:Name} at the end of the Build directory path:
code :
/somepath/example/%{CurrentBuild:Name}
- somepath

  - example

    - A
      + app
      + my_lib

    - B
      + app
      + my_lib
