Unable to escape @ sign in perl

Unable to escape @ sign in perl

This might help you The problem is not that you're failing to escape the @, it's that you have a newline at the end of $java_file, so the shell is interpreting the @=175085 part as a separate command.
To remove the problematic newline, write:
code :
chomp $java_file

To fix the issue you can do HTML::Escape isn't supposed to escape "#" because "#" isn't unsafe for HTML.The problem is that you're not URI-escaping your data before you're putting it into a URI; use URI::Escape for that.

To fix this issue I'm trying to escape several special characters in a given string using perl regex. It works fine for all characters except for the dollar sign. I tried the following: , Try this:
code :
my %special_characters;
$special_characters{"_"} = "\\_";
$special_characters{"\\\$"} = "\\\$";
$special_characters{"{"} = "\\{";
$special_characters{"}"} = "\\}";
$special_characters{"#"} = "\\#";
$special_characters{"%"} = "\\%";
$special_characters{"&"} = "\\&";

I wish this helpful for you In Ruby you can provide the unsafe characters as a regular expression. In your case:
code :
URI.escape('foo', /[\0-\377]/) # => "%66%6F%6F"
