it helps some times At first I would suggest to configure Spring + Hibernate + JTA together. Here is a very nice tutorial. If you configured everything correctly - you should have one bean of a type TransactionManager. In above tutorial it is configured inside this block:
code :
@Bean(initMethod = "init", destroyMethod = "close")
public TransactionManager transactionManager() throws Throwable {
  UserTransactionManager userTransactionManager = new UserTransactionManager();
  userTransactionManager.setForceShutdown(false);
  return userTransactionManager;
}
<local-cache name="transactional">
    <transaction mode="FULL_XA"/>
</local-cache>

hop of those help? This is most likely due to your two applications running at the same time, and trying to use the same resource. From the looks of the error message 'infinispan' registers a JMX domain on startup, and does not allow multiple instances of this.
From google: If you want to allow multiple instances configured with same JMX domain enable allowDuplicateDomains attribute in globalJmxStatistics config element

should help you out So turns out I was having old jars of infinispan in my lib path. During run time it was higher in the hierarchy and it was getting picked up first. After cleaning it up, it started working like a charm.

This might help you You are using an old configuration format which we have abandoned since Infinispan 7.0. For 9.3 you should use something like the following:
code :
<infinispan
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="urn:infinispan:config:9.3 http://www.infinispan.org/schemas/infinispan-config-9.3.xsd"
    xmlns="urn:infinispan:config:9.3">
    <cache-container default-cache="local">
        <local-cache name="local">
            <persistence>
                <file-store path="path" shared="false" purge="false"/>
            </persistence>
        </local-cache>
    </cache-container>
</infinispan>

it helps some times Question-1:
Setting bind_addr to bind_addr=match-address=127.2.\* should pick the correct address (127.2.155.1). Does 127.2.155.1 show when you do an ifconfig?

will be helpful for those in need You can change the configuration file by setting the property hibernate.cache.infinispan.cfg, but I don't think that's the proper solution, because this means that you create a new instance of Infinispan cache manager.
When you use 2LC in JBoss AS, you should grab the cache manager that is managed by the AS, being able to set configuration in your standalone.xml etc., therefore either not setting the hibernate.cache.region.factory_class property at all or setting that to org.jboss.as.jpa.hibernate4.infinispan.InfinispanRegionFactory (regrettably I am not sure how this integrates in such an old version).
