will help you I have AccountController as , There are two approaches for doing this.
1st Approach:
code :
public class BaseController : Controller
{
    protected override void OnActionExecuting(ActionExecutingContext filterContext)
    {
        if (filterContext.HttpContext.Session["UserName"] == null)
        {
            if (filterContext.HttpContext.Request.IsAjaxRequest())
            {
                filterContext.HttpContext.Response.StatusCode = 403;
                filterContext.Result = new JsonResult { Data = "LogOut", JsonRequestBehavior = JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet };
            }
            else
                filterContext.Result =  new RedirectResult("~/Account/Login");
        }

    }
}
public class HomeController : BaseController
{

}
public class AuthenticateAttribute : ActionFilterAttribute
{
    public override void OnActionExecuting(ActionExecutingContext filterContext)
    {
        if (filterContext.HttpContext.Session["UserName"] == null)
        {
            if (filterContext.HttpContext.Request.IsAjaxRequest())
            {
                filterContext.HttpContext.Response.StatusCode = 403;
                filterContext.Result = new JsonResult { Data = "LogOut", JsonRequestBehavior = JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet };
            }
            else
                filterContext.Result = RedirectToAction("Login", "Account");
        }
    }
}
public class HomeController : Controller
{
   [AllowAnonymous]
   public ActionResult AllowAllUserAction()
   {

   }
   [Authenticate]
   public ActionResult SomeAction()
   {

   }
}

wish help you to fix your issue What you could do, if you don't want to actually use the built in Forms Authentcation is:
Check if the user is authenticated on each page you want to hide from anonymous users. If they are not authenticated, redirect them to your login page with the URL in the query string.
code :
if(!HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated) {
    Response.Redirect(~/login.aspx?redirect=this_page.aspx");
}
if(!String.IsNullorEmpty(Request.QueryString["redirect"]) {
  string url = ResolveClientURL(redirect);
  Response.Redirect(url);
}

around this issue https://www.facebook.com/login.php?email=xyz%40xyz.com
where %40 is the hex code for the @ sign. Since '@' is an error control operator in php, changing it to hex causes it to pass through to the login dialog box.

wish of those help From everything you give us : There is a big problem : you look for a login when people get in the page index.php?id=2
So the var you expect into $_GET isn't user, but id!
code :
if(isset($_GET['id'])

wish help you to fix your issue When using Ember Simple Auth, how do I redirect the user to a login page if they are trying to view a page they can only access when they are signed in? , You just must import AuthenticatedRouteMixin in your Route
code :
import AuthenticatedRouteMixin from 'ember-simple-auth/mixins/authenticated-route-mixin';
export default Ember.Route.extend(AuthenticatedRouteMixin);

Does that help Instead of passing the UID, it's better to pick up the state in the next page with a so-called authentication state listener.
As shown in the documentation on getting the currently signed in user:
code :
firebase.auth().onAuthStateChanged(function(user) {
  if (user) {
    // User is signed in.
  } else {
    // No user is signed in.
  }
});
