I wish this help you If you want to have the icon appear correctly in all screen densities, then you should create your own drawable-mdpi, drawable-hdpi, etc folders and copy the icons into each of those.
That way the correct size icon will be used for each density. For more details on how this works, see supporting multiple screen sizes, particularly the section on resource qualifiers.

To fix this issue You can tweak the final display order of menu items using the android:orderInCategory attribute or the order parameter of the Menu.add method. Other than those, I don't believe there's a way to sort menu items. Additionally, I'd wonder what kind of menu would require this — it may be better to use a different UI element.

wish helps you The ActionBar overflow menu is a PopUpWindow containing a ListView.
scrollTo() only works on descendants of ScrollView, so that won't work here.
code :
onData(allOf(instanceOf(MenuItem.class), withTitle(title))).perform(click());

static MenuItemTitleMatcher withTitle(String title) {
    return new MenuItemTitleMatcher(title);
}

class MenuItemTitleMatcher extends BaseMatcher<Object> {
    private final String title;
    public MenuItemTitleMatcher(String title) { this.title = title; }

    @Override public boolean matches(Object o) {
        if (o instanceof MenuItem) {
            return ((MenuItem) o).getTitle().equals(title);
        }
        return false;
    }
    @Override public void describeTo(Description description) { }
}

around this issue extending ActionBarActivity gives you the ActionBars functionality on every API level >= 7 by extending Activity you can avoid adding additional projects/libraries to your project but you'll lack the ActionBar on api levels below 11
ActionBarActivity is part of the Support Library. Support libraries are used to deliver newer features on older platforms. For example the ActionBar was introduced in API 11 and is part of the Activity by default (depending on the theme actually). In contrast there is no ActionBar on the older platforms. So the support library adds a child class of Activity (ActionBarActivity) that provides the ActionBar's functionality and UI
