I wish did fix the issue. Create an onfocus handler for all input and textareas that sets some global variable indicating that keyboard events should be ignored. Create another handler for the blur event to reset the global variable.
code :
var DISABLE_KEY_HANDLERS = false;

$('input[type=text], input[type=password], textarea').focus(function(){
  DISABLE_KEY_HANDLERS = true
})

$('input[type=text], input[type=password], textarea').blur(function(){
  DISABLE_KEY_HANDLERS = false
})

Hope this helps You can override the ProcessCmdKey function. This is the first function in a chain that receives key strokes.
Return true and the rest of the chain will not receive the stroke.
code :
Protected Overrides Function ProcessCmdKey(ByRef msg As Forms.Message, _
                                           keyData As Forms.Keys) As Boolean

    If MyCriteriasToIgnoreStroke Then
        Return True
    End If

    Return MyBase.ProcessCmdKey(msg, keyData)

End function

it helps some times This can be worked around by checking if there is currently a selection. If there is, then don't fire the function.
code :
var myself = this;
jQuery('body').on("swipeleft",function(event){
  console.log('swipeleft');
  if(myself.hasNextPage() && (window.getSelection()+"").length === 0){
    myself.nextPage();
  }
});
