I hope this helps you . In #include "Main.h" you have defined bool Init;, so every-time you include Main.h, you will get Init redefined. If you make Init static,
code :
static bool Init;
extern bool Init;

I wish did fix the issue. That happend because:
1 The source of .lib is missing like said tomzx or Daniel, or 2 The .lib it was compiled in another version of Visual C Try to create your file like a .c (NOT a .cpp) in notepad, then you add to your project the file .c (project...add to project...file)

this one helps. Keep in mind that a #include is roughly like cutting and pasting the included file inside the source file that includes it (this is a rough analogy, but you get the point). That means if you have:
code :
int x; // or "slider" or whatever vars are conflicting
extern int x;
int x;

it helps some times I had the same problem as you had. I had a surface.h and surface.cpp file, and I found out that I had to include the ply_io.h file from surface.cpp rather than surface.h and now it compiles fine. I hope that helps or makes sense! haha

To fix this issue Needed to define HAVE_LIBC in the SDL project. This stopped the multiple redefinition of both _ftlused and _ftol2_sse

this will help You have defined two global variables, smgaEngine and gameStateManager in your header files, and you have included those header files in two (or more) source files. So you get multiple definition errors. Include guards don't stop header files being included twice in different source files (how could they?) they stop header files being included twice in the same source file.
You're quite close to the correct answer (at least you have a good understanding of the problem). The right way is this
