I wish this helpful for you it is likely to be a permissions issue - as a test, run the task using the same credentials as when it is run at the command line...

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I tried running the task not based on the event but on a particular minute, and it worked.
Then I tried to do the same event trigger, but then something changed. I did exactly the same but in the "Source" input, except saying Kernel-power, it now says Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power, having selected the same.

Any of those help Ok I found my mistake
As @PetSerAl suggested I forgot that the FileSystemWatcher Acts only in scope of that one specific process of the script. The Script has started the Job successfully but after closing the process of the script (aka. the window I started the script in) the Job broke down because it could not refer to FileSystemWatcher anymore.
code :
Do{
    $JobExist = Get-Job
} while($JobExist -ne '')

like below fixes the issue Declare the params section at the beginning of your script. Good tutorial here.
Now the script expects parameter named 'DaysOld' of type integer.
code :
param(
    [Parameter(Mandatory=$True,Position=1)]
    [int]$DaysOld = 0
)

Write-Host $DaysOld
powershell.exe "& '.\somefile.ps1' -DaysOld -200"
