Polymer get property of object returned by filter

Polymer get property of object returned by filter

I think the issue was by ths following , You can make a custom filter with an id parameter. That filter will take the item, verify if it has the good id, and the verify if it's active or not.
My original example was in this Plunker http://plnkr.co/edit/FSwzndyjRxJIymehsZIg?p=preview
code :
  <template is="auto-binding">

  <h1>Hi !</h1>
   <template repeat="{{item in myArray}}">
      <template if="{{ item.active }}">
        <p>
        Item id:{{item.id}} is active! <br>
        Amount of steps in this test: {{ item.steps }} <br>
        Test description: {{ item.description }}
        </p>
      </template>
   </template>
  </template>

  <script>
    var template = document.querySelector('template[is="auto-binding"]');
    template.count=0;
    template.myArray = [
      {
        "id": 1,
        "name": "Name 1",
        "active": false,
        "steps": 3,
        "description": "Lorem"
      },{
        "id": 2,
        "name": "Name 2",
        "active": true,
        "steps": 4,
        "description": "Ipsum"
      },{
        "id": 3,
        "name": "Name 3",
        "active": true,
        "steps": 5,
        "description": "Lorem Ipsum"
      }
    ];
</script>
Item id:2 is active!
Amount of steps in this test: 4
Test description: Ipsum

Item id:3 is active!
Amount of steps in this test: 5
Test description: Lorem Ipsum

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Just use conditional template to check if data is there:
code :
 <template if='{{data.workerid}}'>
    <user-display userid="{{data.workerid}}"></user-display>
 </template>

wish help you to fix your issue I had what I think is a similar problem when trying to be notified of changes to an array in a computed property.
In my case I wanted to know when it's children were modified so that I could recompute something else with the changed children. Here's a snippet of working code from a polymer element:
code :
properties: {
    choices: {
        type: Array,
        notify: true,
        value: []
    },
    choicesTransposed: {
        type: Array,
        notify: true,
        computed: '_transposeChoices(choices.*)'
    }
},

_transposeChoices: function(change) {
    var choices = change.base;
    // do something with choices
}

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Try including 'active' as a property in you my-element and set reflectToAttribute to true.
code :
properties: {
  data:{...}
  active: {
    type: Boolean,
    reflectToAttribute: true
  }
}
observers: [
  '_activeChange(data.active)'
],
_activeChange: function(newValue) {
  this.active = newValue;
}
this.set('data.active', !this.data.active);

To fix this issue To observe all changes to the 2nd employee in your example, you'd use Deep sub-property changes on array items:
code :
observers: [
  'bigup(datatable.employees.#1.*)'
],
