wish of those help try using HTMLAgilityPack then you can load the HTML completely in to HTML Document and find your class. after finding your element by (id/name/class) you can change the inner HTML and save the document back to the file.
you can get the inner HTML of the div by using this:
code :
htmlDoc.DocumentNode.Descendants("div")
    .Where(d => d.Attributes.Contains("class") && d.Attributes["class"].Value.Contains("playlist"))
    .First().InnerHtml = "new html";
htmlDoc.Save("File Path");

hop of those help? Here's one way you could do this. Basically just store the entire file in a variable, and then loop through all of the lines to find where you want to insert the new line of text (in my case I'm determining this based off of search criteria). Then write that new file output back to the file, overwriting it:
code :
$FileContent =
    Get-ChildItem "C:\temp\some_file.txt" |
        Get-Content

$FileContent
<#
this is the first line
this is the second line
this is the third line
this is the fourth line
#>

$NewFileContent = @()

for ($i = 0; $i -lt $FileContent.Length; $i++) {
    if ($FileContent[$i] -like "*second*") {
        # insert your line before this line
        $NewFileContent += "This is my newly inserted line..."
    }

    $NewFileContent += $FileContent[$i]
}

$NewFileContent |
    Out-File "C:\temp\some_file.txt"

Get-ChildItem "C:\temp\some_file.txt" |
    Get-Content
<#
this is the first line
This is my newly inserted line...
this is the second line
this is the third line
this is the fourth line
#>
$FileContent[$i] -like "*second*"

To fix the issue you can do Open and read the file line by line once it is in it's destination, like so:
code :
<?php
    $fileName = $_FILES["file1"]["name"]; // The file name
    $fileTmpLoc = $_FILES["file1"]["tmp_name"]; // File in the PHP tmp folder
    $fileType = $_FILES["file1"]["type"]; // The type of file it is
    $fileSize = $_FILES["file1"]["size"]; // File size in bytes
    $fileErrorMsg = $_FILES["file1"]["error"]; // 0 for false... and 1 for true
    if (!$fileTmpLoc) { // if file not chosen
        echo "ERROR: Please browse for a file before clicking the upload button.";
        exit();
    }
    if(move_uploaded_file($fileTmpLoc, "uploads/$fileName")){
        echo "$fileName upload is complete";

        $handle = fopen("uploads/$fileName", "r");
        if ($handle) {
            while (($line = fgets($handle)) !== false) {
                // process the line read.
            }

            fclose($handle);
        } else {
            // error opening the file.
        }
    } else {
        echo "move_uploaded_file function failed";
    }

    // store file content as a string in $str
    $str = file_get_contents($_FILES["file1"]["name"]);
    echo $str;
?>

code :
import json
from pprint import pprint as pp

def add_app(obj_dict, app_name, pipeline_config_id):
    new_cfg = {
        "application": app_name,
        "pipelineConfigId": pipeline_config_id,
    }
    obj_dict["config"]["pipelineConfigs"].append(new_cfg)
    obj_dict["config"]["applications"].append(app_name)

def main():
    with open("initial.json") as fin:
        obj = json.load(fin)
    print("INITIAL:\n")
    pp(obj)
    add_app(obj, "service3", "another_id")
    print("\nFINAL:\n")
    pp(obj)
    # EDIT: writing the modified json to file
    with open("final.json", "w") as fout:

How to insert a Pandas Series into a specific column of an existing Excel file (without deleting content from that file)

How to insert a Pandas Series into a specific column of an existing Excel file (without deleting content from that file)

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The pd.ExcelWriter and .to_excel method in pandas overwrite the existing file. You are not modifying the existing file, but are deleting it and writing a new file with the same name.
If you want to write to an existing excel file, you probably want to use openpyxl.
code :
import openpyxl

# open the existing file
wb = openpyxl.load_workbook('myfile.xlsx')

# grab the worksheet. my file has 2 sheets: A-sheet and B-sheet
ws = wb['A-sheet']

# write the series, D, to the 4th column
for row, v in enumerate(D, 1):
    ws.cell(row, 4, v)

# save the changes to the workbook
wb.save('myfile.xlsx')
