Ruby's Array Combination Method

hop of those help? Instead of Array#combination, you want Array#permutation:
code :
number = 123
number.to_s.split('').permutation.map(&:join).uniq.sort
# => ["123", "132", "213", "231", "312", "321"]

number = 122
number.to_s.split('').permutation.map(&:join).uniq.sort
# => ["122", "212", "221"]

this one helps. While you can use some of PHP's array functions, your input data isn't in a very nice format. You'll have the fewest iterations (and probably best performance) by writing them yourself:
code :
# create an array of $masterkey => array()
$result = array_combine($masterkeys, array_fill(0, count($masterkeys), array()));

# loop through each settings array
foreach (array($settings_foo, $settings_bar) as $settings)
{
  foreach ($settings as $s)
  {
    # merge the array only if the ID is in the master list
    $key = $s['ID'];
    if (array_key_exists($key, $result))
      $result[$key] = array_merge($result[$key], $s);
  }
}

# unset all extraneous 'ID' properties
foreach (array_keys($result) as $i)
  unset($result[$i]['ID']);

var_dump($result);

like below fixes the issue I'm trying to set a proxy and to use it in a simple get request like in the documentation. But I always receive an error! The adress and port are right with open-uri it worked.. it's http://proxy:8080 .
code :
Net::HTTP.new('google.de', nil, proxy_addr, proxy_port).start { |http|
proxy_addr = 'proxy'
proxy_port = 8080

Net::HTTP.new('google.de', nil, proxy_addr, proxy_port).start { |http|
  # always proxy via your.proxy.addr:8080
  http.get('google.de', '')
}

To fix the issue you can do Common Lisp comes predefined with the standard method combination. That's the default.
Additionally there are a bunch of so-called 'simple method combinations': +, and, append, list, max, min, nconc, or, and progn.

hope this fix your issue You have return false in the wrong place. As it is, false is returned is there is no combination of one element (i.e., one element other than the one you've removed after sorting) that sums (i.e., is equal to) largest. Rather you want to return false only if no combination of any size sums to largest. This is what you need:
code :
def max_match?(arr)
  arr=arr.sort
  largest=arr.pop
  n=arr.length
  for i in 1..n
    return true if arr.combination(i).any? {|array|
      array.inject(:+)==largest}
  end
  false
end

arr = [1,4,7,3,5,2,13]
max_match?(arr) #=> true
arr = [1,3,4,7,59]
max_match?(arr) #=> false
def max_match?(arr)
  mx = arr.max
  whats_left = arr - [mx]
  (1..whats_left.size).any? {|n| whats_left.combination(n).any? {|c|
    c.reduce(:+) == mx }}
end

arr = [1,4,7,3,5,2,13]
max_match?(arr) #=> true
arr = [1,3,4,7,59]
max_match?(arr) #=> false
return true if arr.count(mx) > 1

Hope that helps RAILS_ENV should be development, or nothing at all (development is the default).
The environment isn't the name of the database, it's the name of the Rails environment, generally development, stage, or production. The variable should align with one of the configurations in database.yml.
