With these it helps To do this you will need to walk the DOM and understand how to process the individual nodes.
The basic walk code is this:
code :
function walk(root)
{
    if (root.nodeType == 3) // text node
    {
        doReplace(root);
        return;
    }
    var children = root.childNodes;
    for (var i = children.length - 1 ; i >= 0 ; i--)
    {
        walk(children[i]);
    }
}
function doReplace(text)
{
    var div = document.createElement("div");
    div.innerHTML = text.nodeValue.replace(/\b(\w+)\b/g, "<span>$1</span>");
    var parent = text.parentNode;
    var children = div.childNodes;
    for (var i = children.length - 1 ; i >= 0 ; i--)
    {
        parent.insertBefore(children[i], text.nextSibling);
    }
    parent.removeChild(text);
}
window.onload = function() { walk(document.body); };

This might help you i have a paragraph element which has display property hidden.I split each of that paragraph words and put them inside individual span element.Then i want to give them some effects which involves each word will come from different locations and sit in correct order.But here each word is not showing such effect rather they arise from lower position to upper positions.how can i achieve the effect i am hoping for?please help me out!!! , you forgot to append 'px' to your top and left values:
code :
var style='position:absolute;left:'+left+';top:'+top+';color:red;margin-right:30px;opacity:0;display:block;transition:all 1s ease-in-out;'
var style='position:absolute;left:'+left+'px;top:'+top+'px;color:red;margin-right:30px;opacity:0;display:block;transition:all 1s ease-in-out;'

To fix this issue we use word wrap when there is a long word in a paragraph or span you can do this for wrapping words
code :
<span style="word-wrap: break-word;">Welcome back (said by a person welcoming you back)</span>
Wrap words inside div with span (for example) tag, while the div has HTML tags inside

I hope this helps you . It's true that you need to traverse through all text nodes. In each text node, you can just replace all words with your desired string. So it's quite clear about the idea. Note that searching/replacing using Regex against HTML tags is not recommended. That's why we need to deal with raw text nodes.
Also to help doing this conveniently using jQuery, we use the replaceWith method to in-place replace the text node with all returned from the Regex replacement.
code :
var wrapHtml = function(textNode){
                 return $(textNode).replaceWith(
                                    textNode.nodeValue
                                            .replace(/\w+/g,"<i class='woord'>$&</i>"));
               };

$("div").contents().each(function(i,e){
 if(e.nodeType == 1){
       var elems = [];
       elems.push(e);
       while(elems.length > 0){
         var ce = elems.pop();
         if(ce.nodeType == 1) {
          $(ce).contents().each(function(j,o){
              if(o.nodeType == 1) {
                   elems.push(o);
                  } else {
                   wrapHtml(o);
                  }
              });
         } else {
              wrapHtml(ce);
         }
       }
     } else {
       wrapHtml(e);
     }
});

help you fix your problem I totally agree with @pcalkins comment, you have a lot of words, using find_elementS will run pretty slow, run a javascript and do whatever you want with the result, also, stop the usage of the sleep and use WebDriverWait as the code bellow:
code :
from selenium import webdriver
from selenium.webdriver.common.by import By
from selenium.webdriver.support import expected_conditions
from selenium.webdriver.support.wait import WebDriverWait

browser = webdriver.Chrome('/home/narun/Downloads/soft/chromedriver_linux64/chromedriver_linux64 (1)/chromedriver')
URL = 'https://onlinetyping.org/typing-test/typing-test-wpm-10minutes.php'
browser.get(URL)

WebDriverWait(browser, 10).until(expected_conditions.invisibility_of_element((By.CSS_SELECTOR, '.waiting')))

script = 'return Array.from(document.querySelectorAll(\'#word-section span\')).map(cell => cell.innerText)'
word_list = browser.execute_script(script) # ['word1', 'word2', ...]
text = ' '.join(word_list)

type_box = browser.find_element_by_id('typebox')
type_box.send_keys(text)
