it should still fix some issue What's happened is the git repo on which you're working is tied to an old remote. No need to contact heroku or anything... Just remove the heroku git remote and readd it.
Remove by running:
code :
git remote rm heroku
heroku git:remote -a appname

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Is there actually a running dyno called web? It looks like you might have forgotten to scale your web dyno:
Add an entry like this in your Procfile:
code :
heroku ps:scale web=1
heroku ps

wish helps you A little research on pg column case sensitivity led me to this url https://drupal.org/node/1622982. It seems that in order for pg to stop changing the column names to lower case, you need to wrap it in quotes. Try
code :
UpcomingRelease.all(:order => '"releaseDate", "releaseName"')
rename_column :upcoming_releases, :releaseDate, :release_date

seems to work fine DATABASE_URL represents the HEROKU_POSTGRESQL_COLOR_URL of the database you wish to restore to. Did you do this? => You must specify a database configuration variable to restore the database.

it should still fix some issue Heroku dynos have an ephemeral file system, so you shouldn't be trying to save your database there. From the documentation:
Nodejs app on heroku some files dont load status H10
