Accessing Source Depot Changelists from C#

Accessing Source Depot Changelists from C#

I wish did fix the issue. The solution I found was two-fold, and this was partly due to my own research into the tool and partly from a colleague's suggestion.
Firstly, upon re-examining the sd command list, I found I wasn't looking at the right commands to get the info back that I wanted.
code :
Process process = new Process();
process.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false;
process.StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = true;
process.StartInfo.FileName = "sd.exe";
process.StartInfo.Arguments = string.Format("describe {0}", newChangelist);

// read strings from process.StandardOutput here

This might help you Does Source Depot have a command line similar to Perforce?
About a year ago I moved my home SCC depot from Perforce to SVN in a few steps using a Python script. While I no longer have the script it was pretty simple and written one afternoon.

wish of those help You say you're stuck with VSS -- would switching to Team Foundation Server be an option? It's basically the successor to VSS, and, if you're under direction to remain a "Microsoft shop", it may still satisy your requirements. Team Foundation Server supports changelists (changesets -- whichever term you prefer). Summary:
Avoid p4 stream -t release -P //depot/main //depot/release0.1 popup

Any of those help Yes, you can update the stream spec without invoking your interactive editor by using 'stream -i' and providing the stream data on stdin.
For example, prepare a file with the information that you would have typed in your editor, call it 'streamdata.txt', and enter:
code :
p4 stream -i < streamdata.txt

This might help you The general answer is that you need to edit the client view and/or root ("sd client") so that your local "myfile.txt" is mapped to the depot.
For a more specific answer I'd need to know:
