To fix the issue you can do You can use Property Macros. So if you were to bring up Property Manager (View > Property Manager) and right-click a configuration and choose Add New Property Sheet... then edit that property sheet by right-clicking on it and choosing properties. Then under Common Properties and then User Macros make a new macro with the Add Macro button.
Say you called it Version with value 1.0.0 then you can OK out of the dialogs and go to the project properties and for the Target Name have it be $(ProjectName)_$(Version) and build your project and that will work.

it should still fix some issue Those numbers look more like product ids (PID) that version numbers. If they are product ids, they are probably different because a different installation set/disk was used to install Visual Studio on the two machines.

like below fixes the issue The warning is spurious -- assuming you're using Google Test, it works just fine
You can make it go away however. Right click on the offending project and select properties. Select "Librarian" in the tree view on the left hand side, and change the "Output File" item on the right by clicking on the box next to output file, and selecting "Inherit from parent or project defaults".

I wish this help you If you don't use any features that aren't available in the free versions, the .sln and .xxproj files are compatible.
For instance in VS 2010, the free versions can't mix C# and C++ in the same .sln. For C++, profile guided optimization is not available. There are probably more examples, but these are the first that come to mind.

wish of those help Are you using plain batch files for your build script? If so, consider switching to a proper build language (at least partially) as, for example, MsBuild or NAnt: they provide a bunch of useful features you can leverage to achieve this kind of task.
Personally I really like MsBuild: it is really powerful and comes with the .NET Framework so it is almost on every Windows PC.

it fixes the issue Maybe I don't understand the question, but including version info is as simple as setting the assembly: [AssemblyVersion][1] attribute. You can query it back using something like this:
