Does that help The preferred method I've seen is to use this:
ConsoleApplication::ShowApplicationStartupMsg();

To fix this issue If I try to call a member function of a member of the base class from a template class on the other end of the inheritance hierarchy, , You're doing it wrong way:
code :
 using basis::foo; //wrong way
typedef crtp< basis, choice<Option> > base;
using base::basis::foo;

Any of those help One of the main benefits of virtual in C++ is being able to use the base class (pointer or reference) to call derived methods. , Well, you need to declare print a template function :
code :
template<class T>
void Print(Base<T>& Object)
{
    std::cout << Object.ToStringInterface() << std::endl;
}

Hope that helps this is a pointer to a const object (in the scope of get). Casting it down the inheritance hierarchy doesn't change the const-ness of the resulting object.
So either DummyEquation & create need to be const member functions, or get needs to be non-const.

around this issue To create an instance of TDomain you need to pass the constructor of TDomain to the base class:
code :
export abstract class BaseEntity {
    abstract getColumns(): string[];
}

export class Person extends BaseEntity {
    getColumns() { return ["Id", "Name"]; }
}
export class BaseComponent<TDomain extends BaseEntity> {
    data: any[];

    constructor(public ctor: new () => TDomain) {
    }

    ExportToExcel(): void {
        let obj = new this.ctor(); // create instance using the constructor
        obj.getColumns(); /// call method
    }
}

export class DerivedComponent extends BaseComponent<Person> {
    constructor() {
        super(Person)
    }
}
Why does base class pointer to a derived class object with overridden method call a base class method?
