Angular JS and passing complex object array as attribute to directive

Angular JS and passing complex object array as attribute to directive

I wish this helpful for you You are iterating over foos in your directive template. You didn't pass in foos, you passed in obj. Try this:
code :
myApp.directive('passObject', function() {
    return {
        restrict: 'E',
        scope: { obj: '=' },
        template: '<div ng-repeat="o in obj">Hello, {{o.prop}}!</div></div>'
    };
});

I hope this helps you . This is a problem with the oldest versions of Angular, e.g. the 1.0.1 used in the fiddle. Recent versions exhibit the expected behaviour.

Hope that helps Since replace is deprecated I would suggest you don't use ng- attributes, especially ng-class and rather use your own attribute prefixes.
Here's a theoretical approach that parses any attributes to template function of directive. The attribute parser replaces my prefix with ng prefix
code :
app.directive('mySelectbox', function() {

  function parseAttributes(att) {
    var res = [];
    for (var i = 0; i < att.length; i++) {
      var name = att[i].nodeName.replace('my', 'ng');
      res.push(name + '="' + att[i].nodeValue + '"');
    }
    return res.join(' ');
  }

  return {
    template: function(el, attrs) {
      return '<select '+parseAttributes(el[0].attributes) +'></select>';
    }
  }

});
<my-selectbox
      my-model="active"
      my-required
      my-class="{foo: bar}"
      my-options="item for item in items"></my-selectbox>
<select ng-model="active"
        ng-required=""
        ng-class="{foo: bar}"
        ng-options="item for item in items" ></select>

this will help First example with your directive: http://plnkr.co/edit/XAXy5RGLnvUZIoRj5xAs?p=preview
Secone example without your directive:
code :
<div  ng-repeat="widget in widgets">
   <!--{{widget.type}}-->
   <div ng-include="widget.template"></div>
</div>

it should still fix some issue I'm not sure this is the best approach, but one way might be to manually create a new scope for each of the overlays.

Any of those help I am new to angular so apologies up front if a question is too newbie. I am trying to make a custom directive, and since I am already using an angular-youtube-embed directive, inside my new directive, I need to pass a player object from youtube-video directive, to my new directive, for the function playVideo in my scope to use it. I wonder how to do that? This is how my directive looks: , You can use '&' type for passing function in directives:
