it helps some times add C:\some\directory to the include search path. most compilers do this with a -I or /I switch
for gcc add -I C:/some/directory to the compiler command line

To fix the issue you can do I am trying to create an array of data for use with a FLOT chart. I am using this CodeIgniter code to generate the array: , Since you generate that JSON, you can change its source.
code :
$JsonArray[] = array( floatval($row['Y']) => floatval($row['R']) );
$JsonArray[] = array( floatval($row['Y']), floatval($row['R']) );
Escape the square brackets and quotation marks or fetch this array without the quotes and brackets

I hope this helps . Nothing is wrong. When you type three " your cursor is at the middle of the resulting six. Thus, anything you type is within the string and has been auto-closed.
Type this exact string of characters: """This is working without clicking or otherwise moving the cursor. The result will be a correcly formatted string, because it will have auto-closed the string. Therefore you have both strings and autoclose.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I want to extract this bracketed part from a string: , You could use this variation of your preg_match call:
code :
if (!preg_match('~\[(\w+)\s+(\w+=(?:\'[^\']*\'|[^\[])+?)\]~s', $string, $match))
if (!preg_match('~^\s*\[(\w+)\s+(\w+=.*?)\]\s*$~sm', $string, $match))

will be helpful for those in need It seems you just need to match any substring starting with '{, then having any chars other than braces and ending with }' and skip these matches, and match ' in any other context to replace with ".
Use a callback inside replace like this
code :
var s = "The John's car '  has '{value}' wheels.";
s = s.replace(/('{[^{}]*}')|'/g, function($0,$1) { return $1?$1:'"';});
console.log(s);
