Any of those help This is clang bug 19917. From the section of the standard you mentioned, §5.2.9/4:
code :

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Looking at [expr.static.cast] in n3337 (first working draft after the Standard):
code :
static_cast<Derived const&>(*this)

I wish this helpful for you I have just come across this behaviour and I am having a hard time understanding why this wouldn't work. , It is true that one implicit conversion is allowed. However:
code :
static_cast< int >( theClass )

I hope this helps . You must explicitly cast it to uint32_t, otherwise a compile error. You should try this:
static_cast Conversion constructor vs Conversion operator

wish helps you After reading this I tried making such conversion with static_cast: , The C++11 Standard says (emphasis mine):
Was it intentional that the conversion operator template<typename T> T&&() is a conversion to an rvalue?

Was it intentional that the conversion operator template<typename T> T&&() is a conversion to an rvalue?

I wish this help you I think you're asking the wrong question.
First let's cover the value-category angle. The result of calling your operator is an lvalue if it returns T&, a prvalue if it returns T, and an xvalue if it returns T&& (ref).
