should help you out That's because getElementsByClassName returns a NodeList, an array-like object which doesn't have push method. You should convert the NodeList into an array and then use the push method.
code :
var temp = [].slice.call(document.getElementsByClassName("test"));

temp.push(...);
var list = document.querySelectorAll('.test, .we');
var $collection = $('.test, .we');

it fixes the issue My Goal is to have three or less selections inside my h4 tag based on how many options the user clicks. , Something like this:
code :
$('.selected-options a.option-btn').click(function (e) {
    e.preventDefault();
    $(this).toggleClass('active');

    // get the h4 element to use later
    var $h4Element = $(this).closest('.department').find('.toggle-this h4'),
        // create a string for tags (with default text to start)
        tags = 'Any',
        // get a reference to the buttons that are 'active'
        $activeItems = $('.selected-options a.option-btn.active')

        // check to be sure there is a selection
    if ($activeItems.length > 0) {
        //since there are active items, clear the 'tags' string
        tags = '';
        // iterate over the active items and generate the markup
        $activeItems.each(function (index, element) {
            tags += '<span>' + $(element).attr('title') + '</span>, ';
        });
        // remove trailing comma and space (after last tag)
        tags = tags.replace(/,\s*$/, "");
    }

    // insert generated html
    $h4Element.empty().append(tags);

});

should help you out You had a missing = in the id property

and then add the elements you create to
code :
document.querySelector('#wordcloud').appendChild(word);
var interval = 100;
var width = 800;
var height = 500;

var words = [
  'Liberty',
  'Morality',
  'Modesty',
  'Curiosity',
  'Imagination',
  'Excitement',
  'Structure',
  'Intellect',
  'Friendliness',
  'Conversation'
];
var wordPlacementInterval = setInterval(function() {
  var currentWord = words.shift();
  if (currentWord) {

    var word = document.createElement('span');

    word.innerHTML = currentWord;
    word.style.top = Math.floor((Math.random() * height) + 1) + 'px';
    word.style.left = Math.floor((Math.random() * width) + 1) + 'px';
    document.querySelector('#wordcloud').appendChild(word);
  } else {
    clearInterval(wordPlacementInterval);
  }
}, interval);
<div id="wordcloud"></div>
var interval = 100;
var width = 800;
var height = 500;

var words = [
  'Liberty',
  'Morality',
  'Modesty',
  'Curiosity',
  'Imagination',
  'Excitement',
  'Structure',
  'Intellect',
  'Friendliness',
  'Conversation'
];
var wordPlacementInterval = setInterval(function() {
  var currentWord = words.shift();
  if (currentWord) {

    var word = document.createElement('span');

    word.innerHTML = currentWord;
    word.style.top = Math.floor((Math.random() * height) + 1) + 'px';
    word.style.left = Math.floor((Math.random() * width) + 1) + 'px';
    document.querySelector('#wordcloud').appendChild(word);
  } else {
    clearInterval(wordPlacementInterval);
  }
}, interval);
#wordcloud {
    position: relative;
}

#wordcloud span {
    position: absolute;
}
<div id="wordcloud"></div>

this one helps. You can't find the elements with document.getElementsByClassName() until after they're added to the DOM.
Just use a loop to add them to the DOM, instead of assigning them to variables.
code :
const divCount = 2;
for (i = 0; i < divCount; i++) {
    var element = document.createElement('div');
    element.classList.add('active_element');
    document.documentElement.appendChild(element);
}
active_elements = [];
var element1 = document.createElement('div');
element1.classList.add('active_element');
active_elements.push(element1);

var element2 = document.createElement('div');
element2.classList.add('active_element');
active_elements.push(element2);
active_elements.forEach(e => document.documentElement.appendChild(e));

I wish did fix the issue. you are missing '+' after pricesArray[i].start_date. also after every property. you need to put plus symbol in front and back.
code :
for(var i=0; i < pricesArray.length; i++) {
          var ulList = document.getElementById('season-prices');

          ulList.append(`
            <div class="flex"> <input type="checkbox"></input> <span>` + pricesArray[i].start_date + `</span> <span>` + pricesArray[i].end_date + `</span>
            <span>` + pricesArray[i].currency +`</span> <span>` + pricesArray[i].price + `</span>  </div>
          `)
        }
