Formatting JSON for C3.js

Formatting JSON for C3.js

With these it helps Instead of using c3 to make the json request, I'd just handle it in three steps.
Make the json call. Coerce the data to the structure c3 columns wants. Create the chart.
code :
d3.json("sample.json", function(data) {
  var modData = [];
  data.results.forEach(function(d, i) {
    var item = ["param-" + d.param];
    d.val.forEach(function(j) {
      item.push(j);
    });
    modData.push(item);
  });
  var chart = c3.generate({
    data: {
      columns: modData
    }
  });
});

To fix this issue Not possible in JSON-Framwork. Switched to JSON kit which only took about 10 mins and seems like a much cleaner framwork as well.

With these it helps What you are getting from the API is not a string, but an encoded set of bytes. Instead of using your hack to convert this to a string, use the actual Python method decode() (which will use the default encoding if not argument is given):
code :
json_string = raw_json[0].decode()
data = json.loads(json_string)
import pprint
pprint.pprint(data)

should help you out settings.Formatting is expecting the Newtonsoft.Json.Formatting type but it's using System.Xml. Remove using System.Xml if you don't need it. Otherwise, use the fully qualifying name:
settings.Formatting = Newtonsoft.Json.Formatting.Indented;

help you fix your problem What I believe is happening is your currently configured message body reader is taking your String returned from your method, and escaping it properly so that it is a valid JSON string (since json doesn't let newlines inside of string constants).
Here's what you do... I'm assuming that you are using Jackson's included Message Body Writers. (e.g. JacksonJsonProvider)
