I hope this helps . I am using this sh1 function. Instead of printing the hash value I want to store it in a char array or string for further processing.
code :
char digitArray[]= {'0','1','2','3','4','5','6','7','8','9','a','b','c','d','e','f'};

char buffer[40];


for (int i = 0; i<40; i+=2){

  buffer[i] = digitArray[(hash[i/2] & 0xF0) >> 4];
  buffer[i+1] = digitArray[(hash[i/2] & 0x0F)];
}

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The Arduino boards do not have external storage devices where files can be stored. Of course there are shields with a SD card slot which you can add to your device. This would be overkill however.
But the Arduino has a builtin EEPROM which you can read/write using the EEPROM library.

I wish this help you strlen is looking for a terminating nul. Calling it on an uninitialized array or pointer results in undefined behavior. You want sizeof(inData) instead.

To fix the issue you can do It's because they have different microcontrollers: Arduino Mega 2560 has a 8-bit AVR ATMega2560 microcontroller and Arduino Due has a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller.

I hope this helps . As Aeldred said you have just to cast you String to char*.

wish help you to fix your issue Arduino Sketch Name Available in Sketch Code , The __FILE__ macro provides the sketch filename.
