should help you out I'm using Cloudinary to host and manage images of my rails 4+ app. Its api_secret, api_keys and other config is put into the production environment using a cloudinary.yml file inside the config folder. , You can use:
code :
Cloudinary.config do |c|
 c.cloud_name = XXX
end

should help you out In the latest version of the Python library you can inherit from CloudinaryField and determine the public_id (and the other upload parameter) from the model's attributes e.g.:
code :
class MyCloudinaryField(CloudinaryField):
    def upload_options(self, model_instance):
       return {'public_id': model_instance.supplier.user.id + "-" + model_instance.designNumber}

I think the issue was by ths following , The cloudinaryprogress only is relevant to the process of the upload itself, e.g., for indication of the upload progress. It doesn't know the public ID of the uploaded image yet. You'll need to bind to the cloudinarydone event instead to get the public ID of the upload image.

this one helps. , You can load the widget in a div. For example-
code :
<h2>Make sure to update cloud_name and upload_preset.</h2>
<div id="inline_container"></div>
<div id="thumbnails"></div>

cloudinary.openUploadWidget(
  {
   cloud_name: 'cloud_name',
   upload_preset: 'upload_preset',
   cropping: 'server',
   multiple: false,
   max_files: 1,
   thumbnails: '#thumbnails',
   inline_container: "#inline_container",
   keep_widget_open: false,
   cropping_show_dimensions: true,
   sources: ['local']
  },
  function(error, result) {
    console.log(error, result);
    if (result != null)
        $('#inline_container').html(""); // Will remove the widget after successful upload
  }
);

Any of those help Found the answer. I consults out of 2 things -
1) I have made a mistake that when I have pointed to the variables created out of the cloudinary variables I re-referenced the "v2" variable, which is not necessary as I already declared the variable with "v2".
