like below fixes the issue I'm trying to implement onclicklistener but it isn't working on my phone or emulator. , You are missing one.setOnClickListener(this) in your code.
code :
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    one = (Button) findViewById(R.id.button1);
    tv = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.tvd);

should help you out I am trying to connect a button that when it is pressed the Latitude and Longitude is displayed. It doesn't seem to be working and can't seem to figure out why. Any help would be appreciated. , For starters your button isn't within your layout page linear layout,
code :
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    tools:context=".MainActivity" >

        android:id="@+id/linearLayout1" >

    <LinearLayout >

        android:text="Get Location"
// Add this
Button btngetLoc = (Button) findViewById(R.id.getLoc);

 public void onLocationChanged(Location location) {
int lat = (int) (location.getLatitude());
int lng = (int) (location.getLongitude());

To fix the issue you can do You have to create your listener instance with the current Activity instance, and store it as a member of startCircuitListener.
Then call this.myActivity.setResult(RESULT_OK, startChatIntent);. Same thing for finish();

like below fixes the issue There is no best practice defined by Android regarding registering click listeners. It totally depends on your use case.
Implementing the View.OnClickListener interface to Activity is the way to go. As Android strongly recommends interface implementation over and over again whether it is an Activity or Fragment.
