C++ Writing a file inside a loop

C++ Writing a file inside a loop

I wish did fix the issue. This should be counting 30 seconds down into a txt file. But it hardly ever makes the txt itself either. What am I doing wrong? Or is it that in loop c++ is just not capable of file handling. There is just nothing in the text file , Move the ofstream out of the loop like this :
code :
// ^^ There is the useless stuff
ofstream file;
for (i=0;i<maxs;i++)
{
    system("cls");
    secondsLeft=maxs-i;
    hours=secondsLeft/3600;
    secondsLeft=secondsLeft-hours*3600;
    minutes=secondsLeft/60;
    secondsLeft=secondsLeft-minutes*60;
    seconds=secondsLeft;
    cout << hours<< " : " << minutes<< " : " << seconds << " ";
    file.open ("countdown.txt", ios::trunc);
    file << hours << " : "  << minutes<< " : " << seconds;
    file.close();
    Sleep(1000);
}

To fix the issue you can do I am trying to write a small batch file for a task I do regularly. I have never used the for before and this is the first time I am trying this. This is what I have come with so far: , Try quoting the command you're executing in the for:
code :
for /f %i in ('"ct find . -ver lbtype(%1) -print"') do ct lsvt -g %i
for /f %%i in ('"ct find . -ver lbtype(%1) -print"') do ct lsvt -g %%i

Any of those help That's because you are testing for the X file inside the Y loop. Put that test in the outer loop instead:
code :
for (x = 0; x < images.Length - 1; x++) {
  Console.Write("Working on file " + images[x] + " please wait\r");
  if (!File.Exists(images[x])) {
    Console.Write("The file " + images[x] + " is not exist\r");
    sw.WriteLine("The file " + images[x] + " is not exist");
  } else {
    for (y = x + 1; y < images.Length; y++) {
      ...

Hope this helps It seems like a much easier approach is to use File.AppendAllText(), or one of the other variations in System.IO.File.
code :
string text = "My text here";
string path = @"C:\Data\TextFiles\logFile.txt";

System.IO.File.AppendAllText(path, text);

help you fix your problem Since you said nothing about your compiler/system specs, I'm assuming you are compiling with GCC and flags -O2 -fopenmp.
If you comment the line:
code :
tid_vec[j] = total_count;
  total_count += bitCount(vals[j]);
# pragma omp parallel shared(mat,vals)
{
std::vector<double> local_vec(1000,-INFINITY);
#pragma omp for
for(int i = 0; i < 100000000; i++) {
  int total_count = 0;
  for(unsigned int j = 0; j < vals.size(); j++){
    total_count += bitCount(vals[j]);
    local_vec[j] = total_count;
  }
}
// Copy local vec to tid_vec[omp_get_thread_num()]
}

hop of those help? In saveFile you need to close the fileWriter after closing the bufferedWriter. You don't need to flush because close will do this for you.
