I wish did fix the issue. According to Bluehost, you have to select your PHP version in the control panel. Depending how they set Apache up, you may not be able to select what version of PHP you run via .htaccess

How to load a specific version of an assembly

I wish this help you I'm not sure why you would want to do this, but I suppose you could. If you don't do anything to tell it otherwise, the CLR will load the version of the assembly that is specific to the CPU you are using. That's usually what you want. But I have had an occasion where I needed to load the neutral IL version of an assembly. I used the Load method to specify the version. I haven't tried it (and others here suggest it won't work for an executable assembly), but I suppose you can do the same to specify you want to load the 64 bit version. (You'll have to specify if you want the AMD64 or IA64 version.)

Does that help Find your bootstrapper code(that what get's executed before XAML is shown) and create simple switch that will pick correct XAML file based on OS version.
code :
Uri uri = new Uri("/OS7.xaml", UriKind.Relative);
StreamResourceInfo info = Application.GetResourceStream(uri);
XamlReader reader = new System.Windows.Markup.XamlReader();
var dic = (ResourceDictionary)reader.LoadAsync(info.Stream);

//then locate ResourceDictionary throgh Application.Current.Resources
                    <ControlTemplate x:Key="OS7" TargetType="Button">
                        <Border x:Name="Border" CornerRadius="2" BorderThickness="1" Background="blue" BorderBrush="blue">
                            <ContentPresenter Margin="2" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center"/>

        <!-- DEFALT -->
        <Style TargetType="Button">
            <Setter Property="Template">
                    <ControlTemplate TargetType="Button">
                        <Border x:Name="Border" CornerRadius="2" BorderThickness="1" Background="red" BorderBrush="blue">
                            <ContentPresenter Margin="2" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center"/>

                <!-- Just an example. Replace IsMouseOver with DataTrigger and STATIC binding against OS version-->
                <Trigger Property="IsMouseOver" Value="True">
                    <Setter Property="Template" Value="{StaticResource OS7}" />

this one helps. for an auto update logic, I'd like to load a specific version of an assembly. I'm trying to use Assembly.Load method with either assemlyName string or AssemblyName class parameter. For example: , you can load a specific assembly from a specific directory using:
code :
Assembly.LoadFrom(string path)
Directory.GetFiles(string folderPath)
foreach(string curr in filePaths)
   Assembly.LoadFrom(curr )

hop of those help? You set the PATH accordingly. There are tools / libraries that do that for you (common in university environments with multiple versions of things in /usr/local/ or /opt.
Here is a simple ad-hoc version:
code :
edd@max:~$ which R                 # my default R
edd@max:~$ R --version | head -1
R version 3.1.2 (2014-10-31) -- "Pumpkin Helmet"
edd@max:~$ cat bin/R-devel.sh      # a wrapper I use
export PATH="/usr/local/lib/R-devel/bin:$PATH"
R "$@"
edd@max:~$                         # gives me another R
edd@max:~$ R-devel.sh --version | head -1
R Under development (unstable) (2014-11-11 r66970) -- "Unsuffered Consequences"
edd@max:~$ ( PATH="/usr/local/lib/R-devel/bin:$PATH"  R --version | head -1 )
R Under development (unstable) (2014-11-11 r66970) -- "Unsuffered Consequences"
