it should still fix some issue I'd like to create an applescript that will copy the entire line that the carat is currently on. After doing a fair amount of googling, however, I have come up empty. Any ideas?
code :
Save this as an application
Right click the application and select "Show Package Contents"
Add this to Info.plist between <dict> and </dict>

launch the application with spotlight (command space)

tell application "System Events"
    key code 123 using {command down, shift down}
    key code 124 using {command down, shift down}
    keystroke "c" using {command down}
end tell

seems to work fine Where are you setting the encoding for your StreamReader, sr? If you are not doing this explicitly, and if you are setting the encoding of the StreamWriter before you perform any reads of your file(my best guess), then the CurrentEncoding of the StreamReader may change (it autodetects from the source file).
From MSDN on StreamReader.CurrentEncoding
code :
sw = New IO.StreamWriter(NewFilepath, False, sr.CurrentEncoding)

wish help you to fix your issue You need to convert the literal newlines into
tags for proper output in the DIV.
code :
        var value = $(this).val();
        var contentAttr = $(this).attr('name');
        $('.'+contentAttr+'').html(value.replace(/\r?\n/g,'<br/>')); //convert newlines into <br> tags
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.3.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <textarea name="mas" rows="15" class="content"></textarea> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div class="mas" >Texts Comes here</div>

this one helps. If you're using a BufferedReader, just using readLine() works much more easily.
String line = br.readLine();
