hop of those help? I think the problem is that you're trying to use a gem that says it's for Ruby >= 1.9 with Ruby 2+.
rdebug does not work with Ruby 2.0+, only with Ruby in the 1.9 range. The documentation is confusing but that's how it is.
code :
undefined method `get_pr_arguments' for module `Byebug::FrameFunctions' (NameError)

To fix this issue There is a registry entry that forces this behavior.
This registry setting is located at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\ DbgJITDebugLaunchSetting].

I hope this helps . The most direct way to specify a ruby is to give its full pathname in the :! command (instead of relying on whichever ruby is found first in the PATH directories):
code :
:!/path/to/your/preferred/ruby %
:!~/.rvm/bin/ruby-1.9.2-head %
:!~/.rvm/bin/ruby-1.9.2-head@rails3-dev %
:map ,t :w\|:!~/.rvm/bin/ruby-1.9.2-head@rails3-dev %<cr>
:let $PATH = $HOME . '/.rvm/wrappers/ruby-1.9.2-head@rails3-dev:' . $PATH
Why won't macvim always use ruby 1.9.3?

I hope this helps . It took me awhile to find a fix, but the issue is caused by MacVim not loading zsh the same way Terminal loads zsh.
The fix is easy enough and can be placed into your zshrc. See a commit from my dotfiles:
