GridPane in ScrollBar, stretch empty space

GridPane in ScrollBar, stretch empty space

this one helps. I'am using javafx for building a GUI, including a GridPane with a MenuBar and another GridPane. I want that second GridPane to be scrollable, so I put it into a ScrollPane "new ScrollPane(grid2)", and added it to the first GridPane. Unfortunally, the content of the ScrollPane isn't streched horizontally anymore, if the window-size changes, what is needed. , Your ScrollPane lacks the following:
code :
sp.setFitToWidth(true);

Any of those help This has nothing to do with the ListView. It is the StackPanel's "fault". In a StackPanel the child items always consume only the space they need (in the direction of the orientation of the StackPanel). That's how the StackPanel is designed. Use a DockPanel instead, there you can make the last item fill up all the space that is left over using LastChildFill="true" (true is default, so no need to explicity specify it).
code :
<DockPanel Background="Green">
    <Button DockPanel.Dock="Top">Text</Button>
    <ListView DockPanel.Dock="Top">
        <ListView.View>
            <GridView>
                <GridViewColumn/>
            </GridView>
        </ListView.View>
    </ListView>
</DockPanel>

hope this fix your issue This solution uses a simple resize method which you can call whenever it should update its size.
prerequisites:
code :
private void panel1_Resize(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    ResizePb();
}

private void ResizePb()
{
    //Make the pciturebox as wide as the panel, keep in mind the scrollbars
    pictureBox1.Width = panel1.Width - SystemInformation.VerticalScrollBarWidth - 5;
    //Calculate the aspect ratio of the image based on its new width
    var aspect = (double)panel1.Width / pictureBox1.Image.Width;
    //Set height according to aspect ratio
    var height = Convert.ToInt32(aspect * pictureBox1.Image.Height);
    pictureBox1.Height = height;
}

it helps some times If I understand your question correctly, you want your li to take up as much space within it's parent container? If so I included a JSFiddle from your code. In it, I removed the positioning from your li and ul. and added display:inline-block to your li's so they could get padding added to them as inline elements ignore padding all together.
Here is the fiddle let me know if that is what you were looking for.
