Anaconda Python 32-bit is trying to load Anaconda 64-bit libraries

will be helpful for those in need I believe my PYTHONHOME environment variable was set to C:\Anaconda (the 64-bit installation). When I attempted to run C:\Anaconda32\python.exe, it saw the PYTHONHOME variable and attempted to use that directory as the location to load libraries from. This is explained in the Python Docs here.
By removing PYTHONHOME, I am able to run Anaconda 32-bit and 64-bit side by side. Whichever occurs first in my path will be automatically run when typing python at the command prompt. When I open either interpreter, I get the correct version and bit information and they load the correct libraries. Also because I selected to set each as the default python during installation, the 32-bit and 64-bit python registry keys were set allowing installers to find the corresponding installation.
Anaconda Prompt finds libraries, cmd -> Python doesn't. Python was only installed with Anaconda package, nothing else

Does that help This can be fixed by manually adding in the PATH variables in PyCharm to the console.
Open your Anaconda cmd Activate your Conda environment Get the full PATH value by typing echo %PATH% if you are on Windows 7/can't copy the output, cd the cmd to your desktop and type echo %PATH% > path_val.txt this will create a txt file so you can copy/paste the values easier. In PyCharm, go to Settings -> Build, Execution, Deployment -> Console -> Python Console -> click the folder on the right of Environment variables. Click the plus button to add a new Environment Variable The name should be PATH The value is the entire output from the echo %PATH% command above. Click OK, then apply.

like below fixes the issue I'm a developer on the Interactive Windows. Priyatham has already pointed you in the right direction. Currently our Window tries to use the currently selected environment (the one in the lower left corner). But we didn't want to totally block customers if they didn't have Jupyter installed in each environment. So if the selected interpreter doesn't have Jupyter in the environment we'll check other environments on the system, looking for the closest python version match to the currently selected one. If we find something with Jupyter we'll launch the Interactive Window using that. In this case we do show a popup in the lower right indicating that we didn't find Jupyter and that we are falling back on a different environment, but this message can be pretty easy to miss.
