Hope that helps It looks like your application is failing to load the connect-livereload module. You should only be using that in your local development environment. You probably have code something like this:

Hope this helps This happens with heroku when ruby version specified in bin files. Try to repace "#!/usr/bin/env ruby1.9.1" => "#!/usr/bin/env ruby" in 3 files:

seems to work fine static middleware take two arguments, a string which is the root path of the directory to serve, and an option object.
For example

Any of those help Happy to announce that I was finally able to get this working! The problem was found by running: heroku logs -- appname
I needed to put haml in my production.rb file, and a few other tricky things were missing. a bunch!

it should still fix some issue If you manually edit the herokuDeployType value in your .yo-rc.json to this:

I wish did fix the issue. So I figured out the problem. I didn't have my environment variables set on the heroku dashboard. If you get a similar problem follow those steps:
Go to https://dashboard.heroku.com/apps Click on your application Go to settings and click on "reveal config vars" Enter all your environment variables
