# Write an equation into Javascript

To fix this issue As others have mentioned, Math.sin takes radians as arguments. So you will need to alter your equation to use radians.
Also, Javascript has a method for arcsin: Math.asin:
code :
var result = Math.asin(Math.sin(0.40927971) *
Math.sin(0.0172142063 * ( (d - 81) * (Math.Pi/180) )));

Does that help You property is probably a string, try add a parse to int before doing math
If you are doing
code :
var calc = "1" + 1 // calc = "11"

$scope.selectedProperty =$scope.all_properties[parseInt($routeParams.propertyID,10) + 1];  $scope.selectedProperty = $scope.all_properties[parseInt($routeParams.propertyID,10) - 1];

will help you my problem is that i need to write a complex mathematical equation which has me raise x to the power of |y|, both numbers entered by user. I've tried using the code below, but it produces a "CS7036" error: , Update
(After the OP posted the code)
code :
        double x,y,z,v;
Console.Write("x=");
Console.Write("y=");
Console.Write("z=");
v=(1+Math.Pow(Math.Sin(x+y)))/
Math.Abs(x-2*y/(1+x*x*y*y))*Math.Pow(x,Math.Abs(y))+
Math.Pow(Math.Cos(Math.Atan(1/z)),2);
Console.Write("v="+v);

Math.Pow(Math.Sin(x + y), something_here )

        var x = 2;
var y = 3;
var number = Math.Pow(x, Math.Abs(y));
Console.Write(number);

seems to work fine You can insert a module into you VBA project:
code :
Function func(x As Double) As Double
Dim result As Double

result = x * Exp(Sqr(1 + x * x))
result = result * (1 + 1 / (Sqr(1 + x * x)))
func = result
End Function

Any of those help It's hard to know for sure - it might matter whether you're trying to compile to HTML or PDF, for example, and what else is in your document - but this works for me in an HTML document:
code :
$$\tag{1} \textrm{LogVolume}_{dcr}=\alpha +\beta \cdot \textrm{DMonday}+ \gamma \cdot \textrm{DTuesday} +...+\delta \cdot \textrm{DSaturday}+ \epsilon$$
