Hope that helps The code fails with an error message indicating no availability of as.its. So I added the missing code (which appears to have been successful after two failed attempts.) Once you issue the missing require() call you can use str to see what sort of object get.hist.quote actually returns. It is neither a dataframe nor a zoo object, although it resembles a zoo-object in many ways:
code :
> str(SP500.prices)
Formal class 'its' [package "its"] with 2 slots
  ..@ .Data: num [1:180, 1] 1394 1366 1499 1452 1421 ...
  .. ..- attr(*, "dimnames")=List of 2
  .. .. ..$ : chr [1:180] "2000-01-02" "2000-01-31" "2000-02-29" "2000-04-02" ...
  .. .. ..$ : chr "AdjClose"
  ..@ dates: POSIXct[1:180], format: "2000-01-02 16:00:00" "2000-01-31 16:00:00" ...
> str(cbind(SP500.prices, MSFT.prices)  )
 num [1:180, 1:2] 1394 1366 1499 1452 1421 ...
 - attr(*, "dimnames")=List of 2
  ..$ : chr [1:180] "2000-01-02" "2000-01-31" "2000-02-29" "2000-04-02" ...
  ..$ : chr [1:2] "AdjClose" "AdjClose"
> str( MSFTSP500.prices )
'data.frame':   180 obs. of  2 variables:
 $ AdjClose :Formal class 'AsIs', 'its' [package ""] with 1 slot
  .. ..@ .S3Class: chr  "AsIs" "its"
 $ AdjClose.1:Formal class 'AsIs', 'its' [package ""] with 1 slot
  .. ..@ .S3Class: chr  "AsIs" "its"
> MSFTSP500.prices <- data.frame(msft = as.vector(MSFT.prices),
                                 sp500= as.vector(SP500.prices) ,
                           row.names= as.character(MSFT.prices@dates) )
> str( MSFTSP500.prices )

hop of those help? I have a data frame df with column names x1, x2, x3, etc. , I'll post it here so that the question can be marked as answered,
code :
dfL <- as.list(df)
str(dfL)
#> List of 3
#>  $ x1: num [1:100] -0.0793 0.3049 -1.2734 -1.9316 -0.361 ...
#>  $ x2: num [1:100] -0.302 0.277 1.131 -0.295 0.828 ...
#>  $ x3: num [1:100] 0.486 1.73 -0.13 0.943 0.663 ...
require(dplyr)
dfL <- df %>% as.list()
dfL <- c(df)

This might help you We can use mget to do this. It will give a named list of all the datasets that have similar pattern names
code :
all_roads_variables <- mget(ls(pattern = "^all_road_\\d+"))

I wish this helpful for you I have a dataframe that has 500 columns, 2 columns ('FieldTitle', 'Value') columns whose rows I want to 'flip' into columns and df looks like this: , You can pass list of columns names to parameter index:
code :
pivoted_df = pd.pivot_table(df, index=['id','UID','number','XID'],
                                columns='FieldTitle',
                                values='Value',
                                aggfunc='first').reset_index()
print (pivoted_df)
FieldTitle id UID number XID fname lname
0            1   12     123  345   aaa   bbb
1            2   23     432  543   ccc   ddd
cols = df.columns.difference(['FieldTitle','Value']).tolist()

pivoted_df = pd.pivot_table(df, index=cols,
                                columns='FieldTitle',
                                values='Value',
                                aggfunc='first').reset_index()
print (pivoted_df)

this one helps. I was looking to sort a dataframe in R by mapping column names of one dataframe based on the order of row names of another dataframe. After this identify whether the rows and column names that have been sorted and mapped correctly for the purpose plotting a heatmap. Similarly I have many such dataframes, and performing the same manually using MS Excel is very tedious. Please assist me with this. Example of the two dataframes (df1 and df2) and output dataframe (df3) are given below: , We can use the row.names as column names
code :
dfn <- df2[row.names(df1)]
identical(df3, dfn)
#[1] TRUE
lst1 <- lapply(list(df2, df4, df5), function(dat) dat[row.names(df1)])

To fix the issue you can do Here is a snapshot of the dataframe:
code :
df = pd.DataFrame(
    {'int_col': [1, 2, 3],
     'float_col': [1.1, 2.2, 3.3],
     'obj_col': list('abc')})

>>> [col for col in df if df[col].dtype in [np.dtype(t) for t in ('int', 'float')]]
['int_col', 'float_col']
cols_missing_values_numbers = [
    col for col in df
    if df[col].dtype in [np.dtype(t) for t in ('int', 'float')]
    and df[col].isnull().any()
]
