This might help you I asked this question before, but instead of explaining what is happening, I'm going to ask how YOU would do this. , you can use like this:
In Screen-1 on button click:
code :
Intent intent = new Intent(getApplicationContext(),SCREEN2.class);
intent.putExtra("favoriteNumber",GET_SELECTED_SPINNER);
startActivity(intent);
String selectedFavorite = getIntent().getStringExtra("favoriteNumber");
YOUR_TEXTVIEW.setText(selectedFavorite);

it fixes the issue This is very simple to achieve. In your layout have both button and textview in the same place. make one of them visibile and hide other one using android:visibility="visible"/android:visibility="gone"
form code you can hide and show accordingly them accordingly by using
code :
View.setVisibility(View.VISIBLE)
View.setVisibility(View.GONE)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:orientation="vertical"
    android:layout_width="fill_parent"
    android:layout_height="fill_parent"
    >
<TextView
    android:layout_width="fill_parent"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    android:text="@string/hello"
    android:visibility="visible"
    />

<Button
    android:layout_width="fill_parent"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    android:visibility="gone"
    />

</RelativeLayout>

seems to work fine You can wrap these in a LinearLayout instead since, after all, they are just linear. Then position the LinearLayout how you need to according to your needs.
This will allow you to make use of layout_weight which will make sure that each View only takes up as much space as needed. You would need to play with the weights to get what you want but something like 1|2|1 looks close to what you want.
code :
<LinearLayout
    android:id="@+id/layout_after_time"
    android:layout_width="wrap_content"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    android:layout_marginLeft="10dp">

    <Button
        android:id="@+id/button_set_time_turn_off"
        android:layout_width="0dp"
        android:layout_height="35sp"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:paddingTop="0dp"
        android:paddingBottom="0dp"
        style="?android:attr/buttonStyleSmall"
        android:layout_gravity="center_vertical"
        android:textSize="16sp"/>

    <TextView
        android:id="@+id/textView_data_check_minutes"
        android:layout_width="0dp"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_weight="2"
        android:layout_marginLeft="3dp"
        android:layout_marginStart="3dp"
        android:layout_gravity="center_vertical"
        android:textSize="16sp"
        android:textColor="@android:color/primary_text_dark"
        android:text="@string/text_disable_after_time" />

    <Button
        android:id="@+id/button_set_disable_exceptions"
        android:layout_width="0dp"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:layout_height="35sp"
        android:paddingTop="0dp"
        android:paddingBottom="0dp"
        style="?android:attr/buttonStyleSmall"
        android:layout_gravity="center_vertical"
        android:text="@string/button_disable_except"
        android:textSize="16sp"/>

To fix the issue you can do This is what XML is for.
Create your layout in xml and import it via java.
code :
<LinearLayout>
    android:orientation="vertical"
    android:weightSum=10
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent">
    <RelativeLayout>
        android:weight=1
        android:layout_height=0dp
        android:layout_width="match_parent">
        <TextView>
            android:width="wrap_content"
            android:id="@+id/info_bar"
            android:centerHorizontal="true"/>
    </RelativeLayout>
    <LinearLayout>
        android:weight=8
        android:width="match_parent"
        android:height=0dp>
        <TextView>
            android:id="@+id/text_view1"
            android:width="match_parent"
            android:height="wrap_content"/>
       <com.yourpackage.yourapp.createabarlayout>
       </com.yourpackage.yourapp.createabarlayout>
       <com.yourpackage.yourapp.createabarlayout>
       </com.yourpackage.yourapp.createabarlayout>
       <com.yourpackage.yourapp.createabarlayout>
       </com.yourpackage.yourapp.createabarlayout>
    </LinearLayout>
    <RelativeLayout>
        android:weight=1
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height=0dp>
        <Button>
            android:layout_width="wrap_content"
            android:layout_height="match_parent"
            android:id="@+id/back_button"
            android:text="@string/back_button_hint"/>
        <TextView>
            android:layout_width="wrap_content"
            android:layout_height="match_parent"
            android:id="@+id/steps_textview"
            android:text="@string/steps_hint"
            android:centerHorizontal="true"/>
       <Button>
            android:layout_width="wrap_content"
            android:layout_height="match_parent"
            android:id="@+id/next_button"
            android:text="@string/next_button_hint"/>
    </RelativeLayout>
</LinearLayout>
