Access class variables with same function

hope this fix your issue I want to create a function within a class that can access two different members with the same function. For example in the code below, I want both of the lines below to use the 'apply' function on different variables in the class , This would be the only way:
code :
class State:
    def __init__ (self):
        self.rate = 0
        self.wage = 0

    def apply (self, exposure):
        setattr(self, exposure, getattr(self, exposure) - 1)
        return getattr(self, exposure)
>>> state = State()
>>> print(state.apply('rate'))
>>> print(state.apply('wage'))
>>> print(state.apply('wage'))

will help you So I'm working on a program which is a game of Blackjack. I have a class called Player for each player in the game. The problem lies in this block of code here which is inside Player.cpp: , Your issue is in the Blackjack constructor.
code :
Blackjack::Blackjack(char *names[], int numPlayers){
  std::vector<Player> m_players;
  m_dealer = Player();

  int amt = 100;

  for(int i = 0; i < numPlayers; i++){
    Player player(names[i], amt);

        return $this.bar + '123'

I wish did fix the issue. i made the following code: , The syntax is:
code :
OMNET++ how to access function or variables in another class

it fixes the issue There are many errors in your code.
The method getSubmodule requires a name of module, not a name of class. Look at your NED file and check the actual name of this module. getSubmodule returns a pointer to the cModule object. It has to be manually cast into another class.
code :
cModule *mod = getParentModule()->getSubmodule("fooStatus");
NodeStatus *status = check_and_cast<NodeStatus*>(mod);
if(status->getValueA() == test1)
    bubble("Value is the same");

around this issue Friend functions aren't member functions, and operator<< needs to not be a member in order to have a left side of ostream. Change it to a free function:
