around this issue When below code executes i=0, j=0 and length = 9 and loops = 3 , Got the fix :
code :
 for(int i=0,j=0; j<loops && i<length; j++){
        DummyClass dummyClass= new DummyClass ();
        MyHelper.addInMappedElement(i<length?arr[i++].toString():null, value1, dummyClass) ;
        MyHelper.addInMappedElement(i<length?arr[i++].toString():null, value2, dummyClass) ;
        MyHelper.addInMappedElement(i<length?arr[i++].toString():null, value3, dummyClass) ;
        MyHelper.addInMappedElement(i<length?arr[i++].toString():null, value4, dummyClass) ;
    }

hope this fix your issue It looks like you want to be parsing a file, which is answered for Objective-C in this question: How do I parse a text file in Objective-C?
For your case, I think you'd want to determine whether each line is a "#Level X#" line or a row of blocks. Then you could use the same componentsSeparatedByString function (passing @"," instead of @"\n") to give you an array of all the blocks in a line to add to an NSMutableArray of your own creation.

Does that help I'm working on an algorithm where you are supposed to add 2 integers without using a + or -. So I took the two arguments, stuck them in an array, applied a forEach and incremented a counter by one as each element counted it's way down to 0. As such. , You have a logic issue with your while loop:
code :
while (element < 0);
      counter --;
      element ++;
while (element < 0) {
   counter --;
   element ++;
}

Hope that helps I have a repeater field in ACF which I would like to loop and get first 4 elements regularly and then creating a DIV and continue looping the rest of the elements within the created DIV , Please try this :
code :
<div class="row">
<?php
    $leftDetails = get_field('technical_details_left');
    $rightDetails = get_field('technical_details_right');
    $leftDSize = sizeof($leftDetails);
    $rightDSize = sizeof($rightDetails);
    if($leftDetails){
    ?>
    <div class="col-sm-6">
        <div class="tech-container">
        <?php foreach($leftDetails as $key=>$ldetail){
        if($key == 4){ echo '<div class="hidden">';  }
        echo '<div class="tech-item"><span class="val">'.$ldetail['tech_title'].'</span><span class="feature-name">'.$ldetail['tech_content'].'</span></div>';
        if((($leftDSize - 1) == $key) && ($key > 3)){ echo '</div>'; }
        }
        echo '<div class="tech-arrow"></div>';
        echo '</div>';
        echo '</div>';
    } ?>

<?php if($rightDetails){
    ?>
    <div class="col-sm-6">
        <div class="tech-container">
        <?php foreach($rightDetails as $key1=>$rdetail){
        if($key1 == 4){ echo '<div class="hidden">';  }
        echo '<div class="tech-item"><span class="val">'.$rdetail['tech_title'].'</span><span class="feature-name">'.$rdetail['tech_content'].'</span></div>';
        if((($rightDSize - 1) == $key1) && ($key1 > 3)){ echo '</div>'; }
        }
        echo '<div class="tech-arrow"></div>';
        echo '</div>';
        echo '</div>';
} ?>
</div>

Does that help Assuming that you check if(velocity.y != 0 || velocity.x != 0) frequently, you will indeed kick off many loops. The trick is to check "is the player moving, and were they still last time I looked?" rather than just "is the player moving".
A simple way is to set a boolean flag:
code :
//Sets the footstep sound. i.e. it changes to a grass soundfile when you walk on grass.
String footstepsFilePath = gameMap.getTileSoundFilePath(rect);
setFootsteps(Gdx.audio.newSound(Gdx.files.internal(footstepsFilePath)));

boolean isMoving = false;

//velocity is the speed at which the player is going in the x or y direction.
if((velocity.y != 0 || velocity.x != 0) && !isMoving) {
    isMoving = true;
    footsteps.loop();
}

if((velocity.y == 0 && velocity.x == 0) && isMoving) {
    footsteps.stop();
    isMoving = false;
}

fixed the issue. Will look into that further If you're looking to filter and map, you can use withFilter instead of filter, which makes the filter lazy so that you're not traversing the list multiple times. for-expressions use withFilter for efficiency. You can also look into views, which provide similar laziness for other operations.
It's not totally clear from the question what you're trying to do, but I think you want to output 5 new lists based on different filter and map operations. Using loops and mutable builders like you suggest is a reasonable approach if performance is paramount, and this is how many of the collection methods are programmed (check the source code). Not sure why you think you'd need to filter into 5 lists and then traverse each one to do the mapping - why not just do the map at the same time as you're builiding the new lists, by applying the function to each element? e.g.
