this will help You can use
JSONArray post_id = new JSONArray(jsonStr); instead of
code :
JSONObject jsonObj = new JSONObject(jsonStr);
// Getting JSON Array node
post_id = jsonObj.getJSONArray(TAG_POSTID);

wish help you to fix your issue why not using BaseAdapter , where you rule everything related to how it looks and how it uses the data? just implement getCount,getItem, and getView .
for more information about listView, watch "the world of listView" lecture.

will be helpful for those in need There is no one click method for Eclipse users. You have to copy the EnhancedListView.java into one of your src packages, the content of the resource directories into your project's resource directories and the annotations.jar from the libs directory to your libs directory.

like below fixes the issue create a customList class(dont use hashmap)
change your custom list code (this is your code)
code :
public class CustomList extends ArrayAdapter<String>
{
public final ArrayList<HashMap<String, String>> urlist;
private Activity context;

public CustomList(Activity context,ArrayList<HashMap<String, String>> urlist)
{
    super(context, R.layout.list_single);
    this.context = context;
    this.urlist=urlist;

}
@Override
public View getView(int position, View view, ViewGroup parent) {
LayoutInflater inflater = context.getLayoutInflater();
View rowView= inflater.inflate(R.layout.list_single, null, true);

TextView txtTitle = (TextView) rowView.findViewById(R.id.txt);
txtTitle.setText((CharSequence) urlist);
return rowView;

 }
 }
public class customList extends ArrayAdapter<String>{

Context context;
int layoutResourceId;
ArrayList<String> data = null;

public customList(Context context, int layoutResourceId, ArrayList<String> data) {
    super(context, layoutResourceId, data);
    this.layoutResourceId = layoutResourceId;
    this.context = context;
    this.data = data;
}

@Override
public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) {
    View row = convertView;
    CustomHolder holder = null;

    if(row == null)
    {
        LayoutInflater inflater = ((Activity)context).getLayoutInflater();
        row = inflater.inflate(layoutResourceId, parent, false);

        holder = new CustomHolder();
        holder.txtTitle = (TextView)row.findViewById(R.id.txtTitle);

        row.setTag(holder);
    }
    else
    {
        holder = (CustomHolder)row.getTag();
    }

    String s = data.get(postition);
    holder.txtTitle.setText(s);

    return row;
}

static class CustomHolder
{
    TextView txtTitle;
}
}

customList adapter = new customList(MainActivity.this,R.layout.list_single,messages); //messagses is your arraylist in which you added string by parsing your json (see before this code mean upward)

I wish this help you I am using volley for JSON parsing. I want to get some data using GET from server side, that I tried to send. Can any one tell me how? Following is my codes. I also tried HashMap and JSONobject but getting this error. , use :
code :
JsonObjectRequest jsonObjReq = new JsonObjectRequest(Method.GET,
                productUrl, null,
                new Response.Listener<JSONObject>() {
   JsonArrayRequest jsonArrayRequest = new JsonArrayRequest(productUrl, new Response.Listener<JSONArray>(){
Iterator<?> keys = response.keys();
while( keys.hasNext() ) {
    String key = (String)keys.next();
    if ( response.get(key) instanceof JSONObject ) {
        System.out.println(key); // do whatever you want with it
    }
}
JSONArray arr = response.getJSONArray(key);
    JSONObject element;
    for(int i = 0; i < arr.length(); i++){
        element = arr.getJSONObject(i);
    }
