Neo4j : Passing Relationship as a query parameter

Neo4j : Passing Relationship as a query parameter

seems to work fine
you should not use start n=node(*) in your query use a label like :Profile and an index/unique constraint on :Profile(id)
code :
WHERE type(rel) = {action}
WHERE type(rel) IN {actions}

help you fix your problem I have a java program for connecting to neo4j. Wanted to pass parameter which is a variable value given by user to cypher query. , You could do something like:
code :
import org.neo4j.helpers.collection.MapUtil;
...
ExecutionResult result = engine.execute("START n=node(*) WHERE n.nodename={name}, return n", MapUtil.map("name", "value");

hope this fix your issue can anyone advise how I should change my code (this is based on section 3.5.1.4.2 from the 3.0 developer manual). I am trying to create multiple nodes via one query in bolt. , Try forming your dictionary of params using an array of dictionaries:
code :
    Dictionary<string, object> myParameter = new Dictionary<string, object>();
    Dictionary<string, object>[] props =
    {
        new Dictionary<string, object> {{"name", "Andres"}, {"position", "Developer"}},
        new Dictionary<string, object> {{"name", "Michael"}, {"position", "Developer"}}
    };
    myParameter.Add("props",props);
var myParameter = new Dictionary<string, object>
{
    {
        "props", new[]
        {
            new Dictionary<string, string> {{"name", "Andres"}, {"position", "Developer"}},
            new Dictionary<string, string> {{"name", "Michael"}, {"position", "Developer"}}
        }
    }
};

I wish this helpful for you You may need to resort to "manually" constructing the Cypher statement as a String and executing it through the Session, which allows execution of arbitrary Cypher queries via its query, queryForObject and queryForObjects methods.

this one helps. Pass the parameter as WHERE n.name =~ {0}. What's happening is that the parameter isn't substituted from within the string, so the parameter has no binding in the query, and instead you're searching for the string literal "{0}" which always fails.
If you want to pass a regex as a parameter, you'll need to put the "(?i)" part in the string getting passed, effectively letting your code decide the regex, not just a string inside of it.

I wish this help you This is technically possible, but the solution is a hack and you are currently better off, unless this is a performance bottleneck, to do it in two queries for clarity. I believe there will be support added to do this in a clean way later on, but it's not currently in development.
The hack is to use FOREACH as a branch statement, so foreach project manager, create one, which will create none if no project manager was sent in as a parameter. You'll need to convert the null to an empty list in that case, but you can use COALESCE for that:
