User pace test mix and constant load pattern

User pace test mix and constant load pattern

I hope this helps . 1989 seconds is about 33 minutes, which means a virtual user needs 66 minutes for two iterations of this test. So it is impossible for this test to be run at 10 per user per hour.
131 seconds for the other test gives the possibility of (1 hour)/(131 seconds) tests per hour, ie 1*60*60/131 which is about 27. So this test could be run at 10 per user per hour; in fact it could be run at nearly three times that rate.

How to Show Div During Load with Pace.JS

How to Show Div During Load with Pace.JS

To fix the issue you can do I'm using Pace.JS to display a loader anytime I make AJAX calls to a REST service. Pace is working perfectly here except, the page is still interactive while the loader is spinning. I really don't want the page to be interactive while I'm trying to load data. , You can achieve your goal with the following:
CSS:
code :
div.paceDiv {
   position: absolute;
   width: 100%;
   height: 100%;
   ...
   display: none;
}
Pace.on("start", function(){
    $("div.paceDiv").show();
});

Pace.on("done", function(){
    $("div.paceDiv").hide();
});

this one helps. I realize this is an older post, however I recently had this requirement and this post was one of the first to come up...thought I would put my resolution here in case anyone else needs it.
Set pace options for the ignoreURLs before you load the pace.min.js library
code :
<script>
    paceOptions = {
        ajax: {ignoreURLs: ['some-substring', /some-regexp/]}
    }
</script>
<script src="../dist/js/pace.min.js"></script>
<script>
    paceOptions = {
        ajax: {ignoreURLs: ['staffNameAutoComplete']}
    }
</script>
<script src="../dist/js/pace.min.js"></script>

To fix the issue you can do From the docs, it states that you can set configuration options before you load the file. So, in your html page you would do something like this:
code :
<head>
    <title>asdfas</title>
    <script>
    paceOptions = {
        ajax: false, // disabled
        document: true, // enabled
        eventLag: false, // disabled
        elements: {
          selectors: ['.my-page']
        }
    };
    </script>
    <script src="js/pace.js"></script>

Set step load pattern via command line for Visual Studio Load Test

seems to work fine Well, the route I used was to write a Powershell script that accepts the parameters I want, such as initial users, step duration/ramp time, context parameters, max users, etc. Then takes those and edits my .loadtest file (since it's an XML file) and saves the .loadtest with the edits, including setting it as the active run-setting.
Then using MSTest as noted above, I can make sure that run setting and .loadtest is used and kick off my test(s).
