it should still fix some issue You cannot have the focus set to two controls at the same time, however you can mark the button as the "default button" for the form (by setting IsDefault), and it'll accept return regardless of the focus. There is also a way of specifying which control is focused at the start (FocusManager.FocusedElement).
Try something like this:
code :
<Window x:Class="WpfApplication1.MainWindow"
    xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
    xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
    Title="MainWindow" Height="75.705" Width="277.037"
    FocusManager.FocusedElement="{Binding ElementName=textBox1}">
<DockPanel>
    <Button IsDefault="True" Click="Button_Click" Content="OK" DockPanel.Dock="Right" Width="50"/>
    <TextBox Name="textBox1"/>
</DockPanel>

it should still fix some issue If you use a panel, you should be able to set a defaultbutton. I´m not sure if it´s an win forms application or a web forms application, but this is how you should do it with web forms:
code :
<asp:Panel id="panel1" runat="server" DefaultButton="Button1">
   <asp:TextBox id="textbox1" runat="server" />
   <asp:Button id="Button1" runat="server" Text="Button 1" />
</asp:Panel>

<asp:Panel id="panel2" runat="server" DefaultButton="Button2">
   <asp:TextBox id="textbox2" runat="server" />
   <asp:Button id="Button2" runat="server" Text="Button 2" />
</asp:Panel>

<asp:Panel id="panel3" runat="server" DefaultButton="Button3">
   <asp:TextBox id="textbox3" runat="server" />
   <asp:Button id="Button3" runat="server" Text="Button 3" />
</asp:Panel>

this one helps. I'm not quite sure if this is what you're asking, but this will watch for a keypress on the enter key and click the button when it happens.
code :
$('#theinput').keypress(function(event) {
  if (event.keyCode == '13') {
    $('#mybutton').click();
    event.preventDefault();
  }
});

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Quite easy solution is to change TabIndex Property to 0.
So, 1) go to VBA Editor, 2) select your TextBox in your UserForm and 3) change TabIndex Property in Property window as presented below.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I think your problem is the double-tap is within a series of events that end up changing the focus. What you could try is to "queue" a focus change by asynchronously calling the Focus method. For example:
code :
Task.Factory.StartNew(
    () => Dispatcher.RunAsync(CoreDispatcherPriority.Low,
        () => PageNumberTextBox.Focus(FocusState.Keyboard)));
Pressing <Enter> while cursor focus is in a text box should activate a specific button on the form. [Powershell]

I wish this help you , Put in a KeyEventHandler to the TextBox
code :
$textBox1.add_KeyDown($textbox1_KeyDown)
$textbox1_KeyDown=[System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventHandler]{
    if($_.KeyCode -eq 'Enter')
    {
        ...
    }
}
