this will help The format is in JSON , you need to decode it first by using json_decode()
Something like this...
code :
$yourJSON = '{"name":"bedroom","rent":"sale","props":"","leases":""}';
$yourarray = json_decode($yourJSON,1);
foreach($yourarray as $key=>$val)
{
echo $key." ".$val."<br/>";
}
   echo $yourarray['rent']; //"prints" sale

may help you . The trick is - create a regular expression, and use the | to create an or condition.
So use your:
code :
my @excludepaths = (
  "abc/def/",
  "hij/klm/",
);
my $regex = join ( "|", map { quotemeta } @excludepaths );
   $regex = qr/($regex)/;
next if m/$regex/;
my @excludepaths = (
  "abc/def/",
  "hij/klm/",
);

my $regex = join ( "|", @excludepaths );
   $regex = qr/($regex)/;

for ( "abc/def/ghk", "abf/de/cg", "abf/hij/klm/ghf", "fish/bat/mix" ) {
   next if m/$regex/;
   print;
   print "\n";
}
/some/path/to/foo/and/more/Hello
my @excludepaths = ( "abc/def/", "hij/klm/", "/foo/", );

my $regex = join( "|", @excludepaths );
$regex = qr/($regex)/;

my $include_regex = qr,/foo/.*\bHELLO$,;

for (
    "abc/def/ghk",              "abf/de/cg",
    "abf/hij/klm/ghf",          "fish/bat/mix",
    "/path/with/foo/not/HELLO", "/path/with/foo/",
    "/path/with/foo/HELLO"
    )
{
    next if ( m/$regex/ and not m/$include_regex/ );
    print;
    print "\n";
}

I wish this help you My answer comes in two parts.
First: Your approach can be avoided by one command line
code :
gen wanted = inlist(States, "Alabama", "Colorado")  ///
& inrange(year, 2002, 2004)
States == Alabama
States == "Alabama"
gen dummy = 0

foreach s in Alabama Colorado {
    replace dummy = 1 if inlist(States, "`s'") & inrange(year, 2002, 2004)
}

help you fix your problem I'm wondering how to select a child when the callback of a forEach does not directly refer to the desired element. , Just select the child input's .value, instead of the $el's .value:
code :
const $searchField = document.querySelectorAll('.js-search');
$searchField.forEach(function($el) {
  // $el = .js-search
  $el.addEventListener('click', function() {
    $el.classList.add('is-active');
  });

  const input = $el.querySelector('input');
  input.addEventListener('keyup', function() {
    if (input.value.length > 0) {
       $el.classList.add('is-active');
     } else {
       $el.classList.remove('is-active')
     }
  });
});

hop of those help? Give Clay's comment an upvote as he really helped and was right and gave a very simple answer (without requiring me to use or convert to Linq).
Apparently there aren't enough non-Linq examples out there to filter through all the useless examples that uses the root, aka "//".
code :
XmlNodeList xmlInterfaces = vmNode.SelectNodes("ns:interface",nsmgr);
