Between Two Datetime parameters not working properly SQL Server

Hope this helps Aaron Bertrand has an extensive blog on why you should not use between with dates (see here).
I am guessing from the names of your variables that you are forgetting about the time component on getdate(). So, try declaring your variables as:
code :
DECLARE @Today date;
DECLARE @FromDate date;
DECLARE @ToDate date;

SET @Today = cast(GetDate() as date);
SET @FromDate = @Today;
SET @ToDate = DATEADD(day, 7, @Today);
where [Column_name] >= @FromDate and [Column_name] < DATEADD(day, 1, @ToDate)
DECLARE @Today datetime;
DECLARE @FromDate datetime;
DECLARE @ToDate datetime;

SET @Today = DATEADD(day, DATEDIFF(day, 0, getdate()), 0);
SET @FromDate = @Today;
SET @ToDate = DATEADD(day, 7, @Today);

help you fix your problem I am retrieving the datetime data from mysql the retrieved data from a single row is. , You do not need "date_format()":
code :
echo date('d-m-Y H:i:s', strtotime('2011-04-11 19:31:30'));

//results: 11-04-2011 19:31:30

I wish this help you More a comment: Don't confuse the format of DateInterval with format of DateTime: i is Minutes, numeric, e.g. 1, 3, 59. In case you run into a problem or you use a function you don't know in and out, please consult the manual first.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The first problem is that you're not using the 24-hr hour format string:
code :
contacthours.Hours1From = DateTime.ParseExact("08:00", "HH:mm", null);
contacthours.Hours1To = DateTime.ParseExact("16:00", "HH:mm", null);

I wish this helpful for you Your issue is that since you are not keeping the time in the database and when you compare the date with now which includes the time, the now will always be greater than the date you pull from the database.
The database time 2017-03-17 becomes 2017-03-17 00:00:00 php time.
code :
  $last_updated = new DateTime($row["last_updated_date"],new DateTimeZone("Asia/Kolkata"));

  $today = new DateTime('now',new DateTimeZone("Asia/Kolkata")); //gets current date time
  $today->setTime(0,0); // back to the beginning of the day

  //echo $last_updated->getTimestamp .  | . $today->getTimestamp; // for debugging purpose
  if(($last_updated->getTimestamp >= $today->getTimestamp)) {
    // note that I have used '>=' to allow the current date

Hope that helps This seems like a bug. According to this discussion, check line 2614-2637 of the multi.py of pandas package:
code :
                if key.start is not None:
                    start = level_index.get_loc(key.start)
                    start = 0
                if key.stop is not None:
                    stop = level_index.get_loc(key.stop)
                    stop = len(level_index) - 1
                step = key.step
            except KeyError:

                # we have a partial slice (like looking up a partial date
                # string)
                start = stop = level_index.slice_indexer(key.start, key.stop,
                                                         key.step, kind='loc')
                step = start.step

            if isinstance(start, slice) or isinstance(stop, slice):
                # we have a slice for start and/or stop
                # a partial date slicer on a DatetimeIndex generates a slice
                # note that the stop ALREADY includes the stopped point (if
                # it was a string sliced)
                return convert_indexer(start.start, stop.stop, step)
